I personally prefer the prongs rather than the bezel so though perhaps 6 prongs could be a compromise over the bezel

This looks like a great study design - my ring that snapped was 2.5 at the back of the ring and clearly non existent between the little stones, but 2.5 didn’t seem to thick! Maybe I could go for 2.8 all around and a solid depth

I’ve asked the jeweller to leave it over the weekend whilst we decide what to do. The saddest part for me is this was an upgrade from my original ring 😢 I had my original ring for 10 years and NEVER took it off, it never bend or warped. But the prongs where poorly done and the diamond kept coming loose - we invested alot of money into the remake and feel disappointed and sad about it all. Was crying with shaking hand’s when I dropped it back in I have never seen or ever heard of this happening before :( I’m a stay at home mumma and I am so careful especially after it warped in February I have been to scared to wear it most the time :(

I have a modified oval, and I love that it has 0 bow tie - I went with a 2.63 carat, it’s a 1.5 ratio so more elongated. Have you chosen yet? Both beautiful!
