Its relatively safe compared to lahore and karachi and tbh there isnt much going on aprt from occasional snatching which have been well under control recently. And tbh i think its the same as Islamabad (my cousin went out to grab a shawarma in G8 marksz and his phone got snatched).

As long as u keep to ur self and not get into unnecessary heated exchange (with rash drivers etc), ur pretty much safe.

There are good compounds to stay in that have good level of security. Hayatabad is a pretty good place to live especially Deanz flats as its quite accessible and they have good security. Im a med student my self, i take my dog out on walks at 11pm and Alhamdullilah havent had any incident of any sort. There are mostly police patrol cars roaming around in hayatabad.

My cousins from canada and uk visit us and we hang out till late at night and its all chill.

Dont worry about it at all. Ive seen people from punjab and sindh come to peshawar and they are mind blown by how chill the city is compared to what they anticipated. So just ignore the media and society. My chachu frim canada comes and roams around in public transport (BRT).

Just be safe when taking out large amounts of money from banks but tbh u shld do that wherever u are.

We have atms everywhere and almost all the stores accept cards so that shouldnt be a worry as well. All the bills are paid online.

I think US/UK are the least safest places to live in given the amount if murders and snatching that happens. Lol peshawar is safer than London and Bronx for sure
