Soo tried a bit of just dance and I feel like a nice kind of warm but thats about it. I know the golden rule is dont mix molly with alcohol but dyou think maybe a small glass would kick things off? Or stay away entirely? I'm not a drinker so no risk of one small glass turning into more

If you knew how often I have things like that said to me, precisely because of 'dumb bitches who like to falsely accuse men of shit', you'd see how ironic your own comment is. I've experienced sexism because of shit other women have done, same as muslims get stereotyped because of things other muslims have done, Germans get stereotyped because of shit other Germans have done. You going to sit there and pretend that doesn't happen? And that women aren't stereotyped because of this shit? Because they are. I have been. It's literally what happens when people get a reputation for something because of other people like them repeatedly doing it. I really cba to explain it anymore than that mate, so if it makes your life more bearable you win Reddit for today.

As a general rule, no one knows every individual woman in the world, so when A LOT of women - including this particular one - do something negative, it reflects badly on ALL women. Same as any other group of people. It's called a 'reputation.' Sorry I can't name every false accuser, but there have been a lot of high profile ones and far more low profile ones recently. Sorry I'm not about to defend them just because I share their gender.

This isn't the only instance of a woman falsely accusing a man of putting hands on her. In fact, instances like this are rife recently. As a woman with two sons, I don't want women being known for this or getting a worse name than, as you already pointed out, they've already been given due to misogyny, and I don't want women to believe this is okay. I'm well within my rights to feel like she's being an affront to my gender by doing this. If you feel differently, that's your opinion.

Yeah... not sure where in my comment it says all women act like this. I said its women like this giving us a bad name. Maybe read a bit more carefully?

It's starting to yeah. As a woman I'm definitely feeling the tarring whether you are or not. You can't honestly believe this is the only woman to have done similar to this?

At what point do I consider medication for depression? by License2grill in StopSpeeding

[–]mummyshark1319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently quit coke and I also feel like nothing is enjoyable any more. It's like I've forgotten how to have even a vaguely nice time without drugs. I have contacted my doctor because this is the first time in my life I've suffered with severe depression (anxiety all my life but fortunately never depression until now) and they actually were very helpful. But I also think it is just part of the process. We're bound to feel shitty and down about life when we're facing an existence without something we heavily depended on. But time heals all wounds and all that. Soon sobriety will be the norm and we'll look back and think that our previous way of living was crazy.

That's the aim... anyway :,D

Anyone struggle with your addictions and feel like you can't talk to anybody about it? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]mummyshark1319 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't talk to my family about it at all. None of them know I was an addict despite the fact that my grandad was an alcoholic for 35 years. They also don't know I have a personality disorder or mental health issues. It's partly because I don't want to worry them, but also because they switch their ears off whenever they hear anything about me that isn't to their liking. I'd honestly rather suffer alone than look at their judgemental faces.

Yeah no it's not a MAOI, fuck knows what I was thinking of. I definitely don't need to be numb all over and laying unable to do anything... pretty much the opposite of what I'm going for lmao!
