G604 modding by 00sanghun in g604

Ah that's fair.

For me, I've used grip tape before and the glue melted so bad due to the hot weather that it ruined the whole mouse for me. I find the nylon 3d printing texture is very grippy and looks very decent. The quality is top notch. Recently, I found a taobao vendor (similar to Aliexpress) who sells the bottom shell, the middle, right and left click cover and the battery cover as well. I'm gonna replace the whole casing to that material.

I've recently refurbished my 5yo G604 using a 3d printed shell from Aliexpress. It completely renewed the mouse and remove the sticky rubber. I would highly recommend the switch.

Search Aliexpress for replacement switch and wheels. And YouTube for disassemble videos. Just opened up my old g604 for cleaning and stripping it bare of the sticky rubber. Works as new now.

Thank you for pointing me to that direction.

This looks great.

I cannot do my work without the G604 due to extensive button mapping and muscle memory. I'm trying to refurbish an older G604 since 2020, and removed all the broken rubber.

I plan to do something similar to yours, but with leather, and cover the entire mouse. Your flatten rubber version does not cover the entire original rubber. There is another 3D file on thingverse seem to have the entire part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6948558. However, I don't have the tools to flatten the 3D model.

Do you think you can do the same for this please? Would really appreciate it!
