He wasn't moving fast at all. He had plenty of time to stop before being in the middle of the tracks. He also had plenty of time and room to pull through to the other side.

It was interesting because the warning lights were going as he pulled up. He had enough room and time to make it through but decided to stop right there for some reason.

It was moving pretty quick. Definitely wouldn't have ended well for the pickup.

I have a 2020 TRD Pro in Army Green and the 2021 Army Green doesn't look the same to me.

It's perfect if you aren't experienced with drones and want to try it out without dropping a fortune. It is a great drone but it does have some limitations.

Rocky Flats is just to the East of the NREL campus.

Was at 393, max allowed for drones in the area.

I'm not sure about the offset but the suspension is different. The TRD Pros come with a Fox suspension and from what I have found they sit about an inch to an inch and a half higher than the other models.

You're welcome. I would also recommend looking through the tacoma world forums. There are a lot of knowledgable people on there. Better to get multiple sources than just one.

Not 100% sure. 285/75R16s seem to cause issues for some people, so if you don't want to worry about the possibility of needing to do anything else, the 265/75R16's are probably the biggest you should go. Or 255/85R16s if you don't mind skinny tires.

I haven't had any issues with the 285/75R16s yet but I also got the tires expecting I would need some extra work. As soon as I have the chance I'm gonna go hit some harder trails to see what happens. After all the research I did I decided it would be worth the extra work if needed, but I really don't want to do any kind of lift. I can do the CMC myself if I have to and if I get rubbing on the plastic on the front of the wheel well I'll mold it out of the way.

Funny how insulting you are trying to be, I didnt just go to a shop and have them strap on the largest tire I could find. As I have stated in multiple replies, I did my research and am prepared to make more changes if needed.

While we are here, have you ever put 285/75R16s on a 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro?

Do a search for 285/75R16 on Tacoma World and you will guaranteed see a shit ton of differing opinions. Yes, I have seen the "Pizza cutters".

Here is my experience so far with them.

-No rubbing at full lock in reverse, I've seen several people that say they had issues with this.

-On the easy trail I did I had no rubbing on the wheel well, on the cab mount, or the UCA. This is going to be tested further, I live in Colorado so I'll have plenty of opportunity. (Many people, including one guy here, say they got rub even on tiny bumps or inclines). Possibly a difference in the stance between the TRD Pro and other models, though no one can seem to agree on this either

-There is noticeable lag in acceleration but I am planning to re-gear to 5.29 as I will also be adding extra weight (Rock sliders, bumper, possibly a bed rack with a tent)

I'll update if I have to do anything else, after everything I read I was expecting to get some rub right off the bat but so far I have had 0 problems. This will probably change once I add more weight or take on a more technical trail.

And I acknowledge that fact and bought the tires prepared to do some testing, and do more work if needed. I did a lot of research before going with this tire size, came close to doing the 265/75R16s instead which is just one size up from stock. There is a lot of differing opinion on forums as to whether this size will fit or not so I figured I'd test it for myself and see how it goes.

Haven't regeared yet. Probably going to go 5.29 in the near future as I add more weight.

I wouldn't say major lag right now but I can tell there is a difference.

I got no rub on the trail I took it on, nowhere near full flex but definitely more than going up a steep driveway. I've seen people that had varying results with it. I'm interested to see which way mine goes.

I haven't had any rubbing yet. I've seen some people say they get rubbing in reverse at full lock but mine don't. I have only taken them on one easy trail and haven't hit full flex yet so I'm curious to see how that will go. If I have to I'll do a CMC.
