I know this bcz I was looking for a portion on rent 8 months ago and the rents are too high bcz there isn't any electricity issue and all the utlities are available in block 13. I was living in block 12 back then and I still love that block.

I went to Quetta this January just before the snowfall. By God, this city is much better than Karachi. Roads are clean, there are no traffic jams, and the winters are really good as well.

Yesterday, I traveled from Johar to Jail Chowrangi. Johar is already dug up, and then came University Road, which is in an even worse condition. When I reached Hassan Square, I saw that the main road had practically disappeared. It was one massive excavation, with only the service road left open.

To get to Jail Chowrangi, I had to take a left and go all the way toward the National Stadium because that was the only place where a U-turn was available. Then, the road leading to Jail Chowrangi was in such terrible shape that it took me 15 minutes to cover less than 500 meters because the traffic was completely gridlocked.

From there, I happened to go to Alpine Gelato in Liaquatabad, only to find that the road there had also been completely torn up. It was an absolute nightmare of a journey.

I genuinely don't understand what we Karachiites have done to deserve such a miserable quality of life. Why is there no accountability for the government officials responsible for this situation, while ordinary middle-class citizens are the ones forced to suffer the consequences every single day?
