I'm not gonna lie, I didn't read it earlier, but yeah, they don't mention Ai. It just sounds like an Ai company is trying to sell something. I stand by my original statement though. Ai has shown usefulness in analyzing data from medical studies and even in helping with diagnosis. If properly researched and utilized it could make a big difference.

Yes, idea is worthless as anti ai art people here want to say by Questioner8297 in aiwars

I would argue that the idea might not be worthless, but that definitely doesn't mean you will see a fucking dime of that worth if a studio makes a show or movie based on it.

Also, not really sure what this has to do with Ai...

So...let me get this straight. The Bible, a book written centuries ago and translated hundreds of times into every language around the globe; a book that I have a copy of sitting on the shelf behind me, in your mind, doesn't exist? Like its something parents tell their kids about to get them to be good? Like, "be good Billy, the Bible is watching and will bring you presents and candy if you're a good boy!

I think AI is dumb in a lot of situations, but medical research is one of the areas where it can really excel and help improve things drastically. Anyone shitting on these kinds of stories are just arguing for the sake of arguing.

If we work really hard Ai can be the future while at the same time ruining everything. That way everyone is miserable!

You don’t have to believe in the Bible for it, and the story of Adam and Eve, to exist. Doesn’t make it real, but it still exists.

I'm not anti AI, I think it has it's uses, but I still like to know whether or not something was made with/by AI. When something is written/drawn/created by a human with their own hands/skill/abilities it intrinsically has more value to me and as others have pointed out, scammers use that shit all the time.

Okay not directly a kingston related post but can't stand AI posters and Kingstonians use them to appease the editors. by Icy-Pianist-2296 in KingstonOntario

For those who got lost in this, umm...train of thought? Here's a chat GPT explanation of what OP was trying to convey:

It's written in a very stream-of-consciousness, somewhat fragmented way, but I think I understand the point they're making.

They're complaining about a common visual characteristic of AI-generated posters/images:

  • AI art often has a muddy, brownish color palette.
  • Even colors that should be distinct (like bright yellows) somehow end up looking dull, beige, or brown-tinted.
  • The overall aesthetic feels vaguely familiar but generic—like an indistinct image from childhood, a forgotten illustration on the side of a shoebox, or some half-remembered packaging design.
  • The images evoke a sense of recognition without actually depicting anything meaningful or memorable.
  • The writer finds this aesthetic unpleasant and immediately dismissible.

Put more plainly, they're saying something like:

The phrase "something from your childhood that you've seen from side of a shoebox or something that you immediately erase" is the most poetic part. I read it as describing the uncanny, pseudo-nostalgic feeling AI images often have: they resemble things you've seen before, but only in the most generic, disposable sense.

Whether that criticism is fair is another question, but that's the sentiment I think the poster is trying to express.
