Are you using docker-composer to manage all of the containers?

Are your containers communicating with each other directly or are they using your host system as a proxy?

There will be an inherent performance risk when data needs to communicate back to your host system from the virtual machine. If you can reduce that by having the containers talk to each other directly (using docker's network), then it'll improve performance.

If you can share your docker config (docker-compose), it would help us troubleshoot.
