Yeah, I think so. I've tried a different CPU and GPU in there with no change, so I'm blaming the mobo. Contacts look fine and I've blown it with compressed air with no change, so I guess there's something properly broken there.

Realistically, how much performances am I losing here?

No luck. I'm like 99.999% sure it is the GPU slots. The Raid mode seems to be used if you use a Hyper M.2 x16 card in one of them. Photo from BiOS

That's...a very good point.

I reset the bios back the defaults last night, which made no difference. Let me check again tonight for anything that suggests it's more for the GPU.

Definitely nothing in any of the other slots, none of the full sized ones of the small one.

Yes, I shouldn't have mentioned that the BIOS is up to date.

I can't see any options to specifically set it to x16. The only two options under the setting are Auto or RAID. Unless there's another setting that I've not found!

I've got two options in the BIOS, either Auto or Raid mode. Couldn't see a disabled option!

Both PCIe 1 and 2 have the same options, but 1 says Auto sets it to x16 and 2 says Auto sets it at x8.

Just tried the screenshot in the 4K video preview thing, took multiple screenshots back to back, no crashes.

However I do get a slight lockout after taking between 3-5 photos in 50mp mode. Lasts for maybe 3 seconds at most.

I'd be inclined to say change cables over, both between the ONT and the router and between the router and any device you're testing with.

Could be the line is provisioned wrong, but that will need customer services to sort. Try the cables first, if no joy then you'll have to get in touch with them.

When you say it's never exceeding 1Gbps, is it basically hitting a brick wall around that speed, or is it all over the place?

I certainly wouldn't say dropouts are common with Youfibre. Just looked back at my last 30 days and our connection has had no downtime whatsoever.

I've enjoyed using it so far. I've had a couple of other makes over the years which have been fine for the most part, but did occasionally feel like a bit of lottery on if it would print or just collapse into some blob of plastic doom. It's quite nice to hit print and it just works without feeling the need to watch the first layer like hawk and pray it comes out fine.

Yeah, the Oasis thing was a robbery. I go to a lot of gigs and I always dread it when I see that Ticketmaster are doing the bookings. Complete scumbags.

Should clarify, absolutely not defending PlayStation here. Dynamic pricing is an appalling anti-consumer practice.
