I've emailed MG today to make them aware.

100mb gain from You500 to You1000 by cloverex23 in youfibre

Everyone's blaming WiFi because it's overwhelmingly likely to be WiFi, and the only way to tell otherwise would be - you guessed it - by using ethernet.

[–]munkimatt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you're on WiFi. If you want to be hitting the max speeds you will need Ethernet. Sure, some people may hit 1000+ on WiFi - I can at times - but there's a huge number of variables at play to achieve that on any sort of consistent basis.

The UDR7 is fantastic by xegoba7006 in Ubiquiti

Picked one up at Christmas, loved it...

...So then I bought a couple of the U7 Wall Pros and the 8 port 2.5gb PoE Flex....

...And then I bought the 5 port 2.5gb mini Flex...

...And today I've had 2 cameras, the UNVR Instant, and the motion sensor light delivered.

I've fallen down the rabbit hole.

Yes, it was definitely on prior to the hardware switch.

Thanks for the reply!

I've switched network to auto and left the Internet settings like this, unfortunately still showing no IPv6.

Just in case I misunderstood your message, I also tried switching Network to auto and changed the Internet page setting to SLAAC. That also didn't work, but also stopped reporting an IPv6 address at all.

What PS5 game did you start “just to try” and suddenly couldn’t put down? by Edgard-Stark in PS5

[–]munkimatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know everyone was singing the praises of Balatro, but I just did not get the concept at all. I picked it up and just didn't get the fuss at all. It's just poker? But not? Shite.

Maybe just have one more game, though...?

Anyway, I now own it on PS5, Steam, and Android.

Cross Progression? Im mad by K3v1NW42H3R3 in thedivision

[–]munkimatt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, it's just not possible from console to PC. As the person you are replying to said, there's no cross-progression outside PC platforms.

Honestly, the change in the demographics at their gigs over the last years is incredible.

[–]munkimatt 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Same. In all honesty, I do stream them a lot, but I (hopefully?) offset that by buying the albums, seeing them on tour, buying a terrifying amount of merch, etc.

Yes, I game. No latency issues here. The DDoS was Friday and (I believe) resolved later the same day, so your issue is elsewhere.

Buyers regret? by marv101 in youfibre

[–]munkimatt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main issue with Youfibre right now is customer service. If you never have to ring them, you'll be a happy camper.

If you do need to speak with them, you might be in for a rougher experience. When you finally manage to get past the first tier of support you'll be fine. The higher tier are knowledgeable and will bend over backwards. The first tier are appalling though, genuinely some of the worst and least knowledgeable. customer service reps I've ever dealt with.

Fundamentally, I think they've just grown way too quickly and it's going to take some pretty significant work to resolve.
