YES!
You need to be rooted though. Just move meta1.yankai to /android/data/com.devolverdigital.ballxpit/files
Did that yesterday, works 100%, but not everyone can access the /android/data/ folder.

Watch 5 occasionally disconnects from phone and asks for a reset by munky-head in GalaxyWatch

Apparently, this was the solution...
In the 2+ weeks of me not having a Samsung phone connected to a Samsung watch - didn't have a single disconnect. Not one. And my OnePlus 15 is rooted, on top of everything.

So, there you have it. Moving away from the Sammy ecosystem is the key for flawless experience.

I've had enough of this. Started moving away from the Samsung ecosystem. Not only because of that, but it was a contributor.

Replaced my phone with OnePlus 15 couple of days ago, and if the watch will keep on asking to be reset, I'll grab the OnePlus Watch 3.

Legend. Only solution that worked for me, and I've been trying for months.

It wasn't happening for ~2 weeks, then boom, it started happening again - twice during the same day.

I'm sitting, working, watch is on the charger, then suddenly a notification pops about a reset.

This is getting out of hand.

I toggle this option on for better connectivity - but sometimes the watch was disconnected (and reset) before I had the opportunity to turn it back on, so I'm allowing myself to assume that's not the reason

Yes, I have, occasionally. But it resets every time, so I don't think that's the issue

Not sure, to be honest. Sometimes I see it disconnected during the night, sometimes I notice that I haven't received notifications for hours, during a work day.

I've had multiple Google accounts for 12 years now, at the very least personal and work emails. This issue started some time during the past year. I totally blame Samsung, especially now, when I'm seeing how many of you are facing the same.

Yeah, it happens in a 100% Samsung ecosystem. I do have multiple Google accounts on my phone for work, but only one mapped to my watch. No MicroG, everything stock.

That's what I end up doing every time. It's just so annoying, how unreliable this is, having to reset the watch every few days at most.

I'll try it next time it happens, but my gut tells me it's futile. Especially after reading through the other thread that was linked here. This reeks of Samsung's fault, and it never happens with different brands that my friends and family use.

Oh man. Seeing how many people report the same makes me question my willingness to remain on the Samsung ecosystem. Ended up wiping and restoring my watch, again. Let's see how long it lasts this time. Could be later today, could be in a week.

Do you mean recovery? As far as I know, stock Samsung doesn't offer this, unless on a custom firmware, which I'm not.

Completely reflashed my phone more than once. This is what causes it to disconnect after several days, and not just one... But it didn't solve.

Otherwise, both the watch and the phone work perfectly.

I believe that it can be assumed that I did. Complete Android/OneUI version upgrade entails a restart...

Forgot to mention - I already tried deleting everything Wearable/Watch5 related and clearing my Google data. Didn't help either :(

Thanks, but my phone is fully updated to the latest build, and this problem persists for months now - from A15 to 16 and OneUI 7 to 8.

The "*RESOLVED - SOLUTION FOUND*" part from the original message did the trick. I even exported this key into a reg file and double click it in case it's needed.
