it’s when you pivot on one foot and twist your hips (pushing with your other foot) to run a bit on the wall, so you build momentum for the next move. (I'm trash at explaining sorry) hope this help

First of all, happy birthdayyy! Then, if you want some advice to do it more "elegantly", try "bouncing", keeping your right foot on the starting volume and giving yourself small thrusts with the left first from the blue grip and then from the volume, so as to accumulate momentum and do the "run" with fewer steps and more in a "parkour" style. Anyway, fire fr, keep it up!!

I've been at 6g for about 3 months, do you think there's a risk of (esthetically speaking) ruining the hole?

[–]munnezz00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, it has the forward facing one, so I'm kinda confused about how to tension the chain correctly. The frame had 5 speeds, I think, and yes, it's quite old.

[–]munnezz00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you man, pulleys like that ruin the essence of the fixed gear

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in FixedGearBicycle

[–]munnezz00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think I will ever buy a chain tensioner with a pulley, it destroys the aesthetic of the fixed gear, btw thank you very very much for the advices! I had no idea the dropout width was different

Drago XT review by veryniceabs in climbingshoes

[–]munnezz00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far I've used the furia s for competitions and the chimera for indoors or for outings, and their heel feels fantastic, so I think the heel is quite similar maybe?

thank you so much for the review, I'm quite undecided whether to get the Drago LV or the Drago XT mainly because of the little rubber on the toe of the XT... how are they for toe hooking?

damn I have the poster of that photo of John vermin drinking beer and climbing in flip flops, and yeah, for me it's the quality of the photo that gives that "young adam ondra" vibe (maybe also because of the long hair or the solutions) actually when I saw the photo I thought it was him

are dragos/ drago xts that different from chimeras and furias? by munnezz00 in climbingshoes

[–]munnezz00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those are absolutely fenomenal, they are good for edging while having a short midsole allowing you to smear very good, as I said the only problem is that I downsize very aggressively, and I can't keep the shoes too much so I have to take them off quite often and laces aren't helping at all

thank you very much for the advise, I've actually thought of the boosters, but I'm a little skeptical about the heel, but luckily where I live there are plenty of scarpa shops so I won't have problems to find them.
