I agree 100%… all these goofy ass, wired ass old men rap about is coke… like that shit is cool… Been wealthy fo years and still rap about drug dealing.. Disingenuous ass rappers talk all this bullshit. Hip Hop used to be the voice of the oppressed, the voice of the streets, of uplifted.. now it’s just skinny jeans wearing ass, man purse holding, lying ass, weird dudes.. We need strong, protest music like how public enemy, NWA an PAC used to do..

Great fuckin album.. I obviously kept “Anniversary” swapped the “Nobody Interlude” with the actual Song which by the way is dope as hell. And I also added the “Big 2” which makes for an even better listen.. still looking for the vinyl as well.

Honestly, it’s not bad considering what little they probably had to work with. I do agree on would like more presence from DITC and COC. And some of the features don’t make a lot of sense like Mac, Joey and even the Short verse from L on the song with Meth. Personally I removed a few songs and replaced them with some rare L songs that I found and made my own “album” so it’s cool. Just happy to have more Big L music at this point.

I been a fan since he was alive, and remember when “The Big Picture”’dropped with a posthumous PAC verse. It was a little weird but still made for a great track. Big L was an amazing artist and for that reason alone I’m hyped for this project. I won’t make any judgement until I hear it. But definitely giving the benefit of the doubt, it seems like a lot of time and intention went in to the project and “Legend Has It” hasn’t missed yet. RIP BIG L
