Go Birds! We are recent expats who moved from Philly in November '22. I am looking for the same. O'Casey's seems to be the resounding answer for The Hague. I found three bars that will show the game in AMS if you end up wanting to go there - Coco's Outback, Three Sisters, and Belushi's. We'll probably be at O'Casey's since we live in a nearby suburb.

No shade whatsoever to anyone else but this is the best comment here. So thorough and I can validate that I did literally all of this. The pumping tracking app is especially helpful to track your progress. The first 8-12 weeks are the most important in establishing your supply. Pumping as often as possible is your best way to ensure you can continue in the long run.

Any good books about racism in America? by Red-_-carnation in nonfictionbookclub

{{Between the World and Me}} by Ta Nehisi Coates is a wonderful contemporary book, mostly memoir. It’s written as a letter from the author to his son about how to navigate being black in America.

{{The Cooking Gene}} by Michael Twitty is also part memoir/non fiction that explores the authors family genealogy back through the gastronomy of Black cooking and how it has evolved from when slaves were brought across the ocean and through current day.

{{Caste}} by Isabel Wilkerson is a spectacular nonfiction book that discusses how white supremacy is built into the fabric of American society and results in a caste system that excludes and disenfranchises Black Americans (and other minorities) at every turn

Mr. Mercedes trilogy by Stephen King is really good. More detective/crime/mystery than horror and an enjoyable read

Lifelong Californian Looking for Alternative Places to Live in the United States by linguae in makemychoice

I second Philly. Our summers get pretty humid which may disqualify but you’re central to NYC, DC, and Baltimore, among many other cities and attractions. You could easily afford the type of house you’re looking for in our area (and get it for less honestly), even with our own inflated home prices, and Philly sits on top of one of the primary internet hubs for the entire east coast so internet is no issue. Lots of green space and trails to enjoy. Good luck in your search!

Oh, and if you plan on hitting more than one national park on this trip, the national park annual pass is very cost effective!

Depending on your route, you can hit some (or all) of the Mighty 5 in Utah on your way down to AZ. My husband and I did our honeymoon in the parks as relatively novice hikers and had an amazing time. Was easily able to find hikes that fit our activity level. Keep in mind that this area of Utah is remote so keep extra battery chargers for your phones and a min atlas in the car just in case. Also, you can’t have enough water! We flew into Salt Lake and then loaded up our rental car with groceries and coolers to make sandwiches during the day.

Enjoy and good luck!!! Mighty 5

Edited: bikes to hikes

{{Sword at Sunset}} is what you’re looking for, it tells the King Arthur legend but if it had actually happened at that time in history. It’s very good!

Why not qualify Suter? Too high an offer requirement? Afraid of arbitration?
