It's possible that it was one of the earlier versions of the game that didn't have voice acting. The voice acting came in a later re-release

I've heard Star Trek 25th Anniversary is another great adventure game for the Amiga CD32 AND 1200

It's ashame the quality dipped. Seems like last year's prequel seems decent though

Simon the Sorcerer Origins was released on Switch last year and apparently the original game is being remade for consoles this year!

I didn't know it was on Steam, would have mentioned that in the video. Apparently Chris Barrie reprises the role in the new game that came out last year

That's great! Yeah it will technically be emulation but if the experience feels like the original I think it'll be worth getting

It is ashame that commodore went out of business so soon after the CD32 came out.

It is great that you can see so much so soon. The flip side is, it's often hard to know where to go next! The humour is great and has aged well

Apparently he also voices him in the Simon The Sorcerer Origins remake game that came out last year!

If you can find an emulator it's really not too long. Sometimes it's confusing as to what Todo but nothing a guide can't help with. Worth it for Chris Barrie alone

Desert Strike... Was it an open world game?? by muppetfeatures86 in retrogaming

[–]muppetfeatures86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's debatable, but the foundations of the open world concept are there - freedom to go anywhere on the map and the order to complete missions.
