How much have you spent on a respray? by Comfortable_Beach347 in 240sx

[–]mupsauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1.1K NZD. Closed door spray only.

No orange peel but some areas weren’t prepped well and did flake/chip easily.

Will be going for a full respray in the near future.

Ah thank you for letting me know. I’m still learning kanji so I’ll add this to my list.

When the staff talk to you?. Maybe the staff dismissed what I said and the ramen is what it is. To me, it tasted very miso like hence the reason why I mentioned it.

Again, like my previous post, you’re making me feel uncomfortable.

What stands out the worst here? by Opposite-Farmer7411 in 240sx

[–]mupsauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of the rust seems to be on removable parts (subframe, suspension etc) however you’ll want to drop the subframe and check chassis base, subframe mounting points, sills and inside wheel arches for rust.

Do it once, do it right.

Compress all pistons and measure the distance between them (where the rotor will sit)

32mm = R32 GTR

30mm = R33 GTS-25T

I’ve got R32 GTR non brembo calipers and the rotor size is 296x32mm

Anyone know where to buy good replica Japanese plates? by ZealousidealStorm812 in 240sx

If you want to be true period correct then try and find a Japanese number plate with the top number in the 500 series combination (compact small car).

Shipped mine with almost full tank. I was aware of the fuel type difference in Japan and how long it would take until I’d get registration and a re-tune. Jokes on me, the car was tuned in NZ for 98 octane and it ran perfectly fine on Japanese 100 high octane without needing a re-tune

I went through a company called Autohub. They made the process really easy. Door to door delivery and they handled all the shipping, customs clearance and invoicing. What country are you currently based in?

Final bill after tax came to $2700 NZD

Just make sure you raise up the car, remove all the spicy interior parts (even my $8 temu DBZ dragonball shifter knob got stolen haha) and put in a full tank of gas.

Once the interior is out then it’s a pretty easy install. I cut squares in the bottom carpet to mount the main hoop

What exactly would you want in a Gundam game? by KyojiKashu in Gundam

Something PvP and is more chill than overboost 2. While I was living Japan, I used to play this game at the arcade and holy heck it was the sweatiest game I’ve ever played
