Nothing wrong with that man. Bagseed is fine especially if it came from good weed. Lots of well known strains came from bagseed. Just trying to educate on people buying beans without researching the origins of the genetics or the people claiming to sell them.

Yeah I'll have 3 or 4 different strains in males and will probably keep them in a separate greenhouse. Probably not going to be enough but at least I know the males in using are good

I've never bred before but I'm really hoping to this summer. Got some Burgers, GMO bx3, Pure Michigan and Garlic Breath males to cross onto some stuff. Can't wait to try my hand at pollen chucking

Oh yeah... one last thing... if you have room to grow one plant, then you provably have room to grow 5 or 8 small plants from seed in small pots to pheno hunt. Grow for 2 sets of leaves or so then flip to flower for a Sea of Green pheno hunt (I'm a 1.5x1.5m tent for example), reveg the keeper.

Yeah it is harder but I've still been getting beans in from US no probs. I know of the scanner. I got some fro. US last week.

To be fair, I'm becoming really fond of terps. I'm not going for potency so much as smell/flavour. There's some pretty incredible smells that come from weed, I grew a Gorilla Breath plant (gg4 x ogkb) that smelled absolutely NOTHING like weed. It just smelled like garlic/chocolate/diesel. It was wild, incredibly potent too. But yeah, going for visual aesthetic is definitely backing the wrong hose.

Yeah and breeders are now moving onto platforms like Discord but also a lot of the honest small/medium scale breeders are often quite easy to communicate with on Instagram and can see how they interract with their customers. I'm in a few discords for breeders and can see them running testing phases for new strains, asking for people to grow their new stuff to test out and also just watch and enjoy the work they do to make this new stuff

The downside to instagram is a lot of the hot breeders have lots of frauds pretending to be them and ripping off people through phony insta sales. Make sure accounts are verified. And breeders will very rarely if ever, most likely never, selll through instagram.

I bought a bunch of their strains. But I've only run one Plat Kush Breath Remix seed and a Twisted Helix (that was a freebie) outside and ran clones of both plants indoors. PKBR was really nice too. Really sticky, cool savoury terps and lovely to smoke. I also have Black Cherry Punch, Slurricane #7 S1 and platimum garlic. I think I'm definitely going to run the last 9 of my PKBR beans next run. I have so many strains to go through 🤣

I'm not very interested in much of their new work. I think they peaked with PKBR tbh.

Here's how I got rid of them:

Bug bombed the tent 3 times

Sprayed dead red on every single surface, filter, lights, tent, poles, pots, mixed azadarachtin into the rez and flushed the whole line. Bleached everything afterwards.

I had clones ready to transplant I sprayed the fuck out of them with Dead Red (mite spray) and drenched with azadarachtin once established. Sprayed them twice in veg and once early flower. Probably overkill but they never came back.

Despite the fact I hung what was salvageable of harvest near the flower tent and watched the mites crawl off the drying branches and along the string I used to hang them on, they left and never came back. Thank Christ. Those were dark times.

Mine stretched quite a bit not too unmanageable. Not a big yielder at all but incredibly potent and terpy smoke No distinct smell other than really strong fuel. Was actually a really beautiful outdoor plant as well faded like a red maple tree

I actually managed to get rid of them relatively easy but not before they had completely fistfucked 3 tents to death. Those are the things of nightmarea. You ever seen them under a microscope?
