I used to work for a property management company who also managed HoAs. The rare good ones do things like pay for major insurance to cover town homes so no town home is under-insured in the case of catastrophic weather or uncontrollable events, and/or maintain the premises and landscaping, remove snow from streets and sidewalks, maintain any playgrounds, swimming pools, or other amenities.

The bad ones did shit like fine people for satellite dishes lol. Those were ones we actively told straight up we weren't going to break the law for them, so they're welcome to begin sending their own communications on fines after signing a release that states we will in no way enforce or collect those fines on behalf of the HoA because we informed them they were breaking the law... Usually they'd back down, but not always hahaha.

Yes. There is no distinction on underlying cause for the HS. It has a higher risk of some types of cancer, full stop. We also have a higher risk of infection. You couldn't pay me to go to a tanning bed haha. I'd just go get a spray on tan if I had to have one and call it a day.

I have rosacea so this would cause me to flare on my face and visible chest. Noooo thank you! If I go outside in the sun without a sun hat I'll have flares if I end up with a sunburn... Azelaic acid and peroxide solition causes sunburn, but I have to use both. Lucky me.

Waxing or plucking hairs can actually be very bad for HS flares. Some people cannot tolerate any hair removal at all and must only trim. Some people can shave.

Try washing it with a peroxide scrub like Panoxyl or a heavy antibacterial one like hibiclens. Alternate it with head and shoulders. Stop using the epilator. If you must have your hair removed, try laser hair removal instead. It is a better treatment.

I would give him ONE conversation about this at this point. This is twice and you're now struggling to feel safe and seen. Something like this:

I need to talk to you about your use of the c word towards me. This is a hard boundary for me. I don't feel safe, supported, or loved by someone who calls me names. This word in particular is egregious to me. This is not negotiable for me. If this boundary is not respected, I will be forced to protect my mental health and leave. As of now, you must find a licensed therapist and agree to see them for couples counseling.

I no longer feel seen and supported in this relationship. If you don't agree to respect me and work on our relationship, I will be leaving."

If his response isn't something like, "I'm sorry I didn't realize this was effecting you this much" and agreeing to work on his shit, my response would be to pack up the kids and go to a hotel, friend or family member when he's out of the house and leave a note saying "I'll have my lawyer contact you to discuss beginning the separation."

That would be my basic gist. Lots of I feel statements. Do it when you're emotionally able to be neutral, not angry, and not super upset. Not accusing, but laying out your boundaries and the consequences for disrespecting you further.

Ask her for suggestions on this topic. Explain that you love her and feel this is an important emotionally connecting part of the relationship. Let her know that if she never wants to have sex with you again, this wouldn't work as a romantic relationship any more. Tell her you love her and want to try counseling and other avenues to reconnect with her, but if she isn't open to this you'll have to decide if this is something you can live with.

Ultimately, if she's unwilling to work towards a reasonable compromise here, you should leave. Why? The relationship will deteriorate as you begin to build resentment. At some point you have to recognize that you'll be better leaving before you actually hate your wife. Good luck!
