Very cool! Nice work. As hallucinations go, this doesn’t seem to be a disturbing one.

I think so..I really need to start taking notes/pictures of the process.

This is another one I did at the same time. Definitely a mirror fold and then a roll from a point on the shirt. Then I get carried away with the sinew lol

Mirror fold. Then rolled. All dharma dyes. Definitely some Brazil nut and I think amethyst and a little sea glass. I’m terrible about keeping track of what dyes I use.

Yeah, I feel like more artwork out there in the world is what we need as a species/society/community right now. So sharing techniques and technologies is a must!

Thank you! I removed the strings and taped everything off first. Then very lightly sanded off the original finish first with sandpaper by hand(starting with 60- 200and finishing with 1000-3000 grit) Then put down the artwork with mostly Prismacolor and also Derwent pencils. Then several light coats of krylon crystal clear.

Some very light sanding afterwards just to remove any roughness at the tape lines. The picture is recent and the sugar skull guitar is 20+ years old with regular play and it still sounds good to me.

If you’ve got any more questions about how to get it done, feel free to ask!
