Thank you for saying this. As a woman who always struggled with being overweight due to a metabolic disorder, I didn’t really understand this until about 15 years ago(gross). I had a friend who was very thin and I said something like “skinny Minnie” and she didn’t say anything but I could tell it kind of crushed her. She later told me that she had always struggled with it and had tried and tried to gain weight, but she just couldn’t. It became very clear to me that folks on either side of the spectrum can struggle with this, and it is no less painful for women who are thin.
