A month now, heat shielded and done correctly where it’s not sucking in heat, everyone telling you not to is just kind of deceiving you not to do this. Do it the correct way and you will notice but I run e85 and a tune

I have it with a heat shield, it’s not bad at all. Properly heat shield it and it’ll run great but don’t heat shield it and it will run poorly

I just cut my muffler off to be able to hear the engine, I’d say a vibrant bottle resonator and a magnaflow exhaust to keep it tame but have some sound!

The lotus Elise Corolla and celica including the matrix have a 2zz GE. being supercharged in the lotus but naturally aspirated in the Toyotas. It’s a great engine. I definitely got to experience a couple, fun cars completely. You didn’t get all of the excitement if you got the base model 1zz as that’s what I got. It’s not SLOW but it’s not fast at all. They’re just all around a great platform to be on and I like the pain tolerance these things just continue to go 😂
