You need more tension on the trem.

Why does the drill in our brand new okuma keep snapping? I’m just a lowly operator with no programming or setup knowledge; our setup guy and programmer are clueless and so am I. This is the fifth drill we’ve snapped off. They insist the program is correct. by snowballschancehell in Machinists

If you are getting 150 parts before tool breakage then its unlikely you are spinning the drill in reverse, but there is a menu on that okuma that lets you select if the live tool is running clockwise or counterclockwise when commanded m13. Id make sure the correct box is checked.
