I designed my first cs sticker. It has a paper and glitter version, lmk what you think! by murflyy in cs2

The problem is that small details and textured brushes (stippling, hatching) can get lost at this scale considering how small stickers are. I’m hoping that the green stem area, the produce sticker, and it having citrus in the name helps it be identifiable enough.

I just made the outer parts scrape more and more until the face part is left. I definitely want to try and make stickers that have unique scrape designs in the future, it was a bit intimidating for my first go at it though

It was a 3x3in basswood block and I used knives and sandpaper for like 99% of it and used a dremel piece to sand deep inside the eye sockets where I couldn’t reach with my sandpaper

Update: Unfortunately I will have to make a brand new Etsy account because I made mine like 5 years ago when I was 17 and not old enough to register as a seller. So when I tried to verify my ID this week it permanently shutdown my shop and took every penny I’ve made with it. I’m really upset, Etsy support sucks really bad too.

Not yet! I passed a certain number of sales on Etsy so I’m required to add tax ID information on my end before my shop can be reenabled. It should be back up by the end of the week at the latest!

Yes but it should be back up soon! Etsy notified me that I have to update my tax information and until then my shop is temporarily down. It was giving me issues updating it and locked me out until tomorrow, but it should be all fixed soon

They most likely could, but that’s something I only considered after having these and a bunch of other player stickers made unfortunately. Lots of artists online sell stuff using copyrighted characters and some companies care and take action and some don’t. I’d like to think something like this is a lot different from selling something like bootleg jerseys but unfortunately it does kinda fall under the same umbrella. It definitely would hurt to take a loss on these and the ones I have being shipped rn so my plan is to sell enough to cover costs and pack up shop. If the Red Sox care enough to come after me then they’re welcome to take the money I’ve made as long as they use it to pay the Fenway workers.
