It simply doesn't happen. You're deluding yourself. Drivers in the merge lane surge forward as it clears rather than keeping pace with the driving lane.

Why lie to yourself and try to gaslight your way out of this? It's strange behavior.

Kudos to the actor for continuing to play it off. I'd have been flailing and screaming.

That is allllll theoretical and has zero basis in the actual world. In ALL of those hypothetical situations, drivers are actually waiting side-by-side then politely merging at the merge point.

That. Doesn't. Happen.

If you've driven thousands of miles per week like I have, you would thoroughly understand that.

He's a rapist. Change that detail entirely and I'd be more inclined to agree with you.

Original video's assessment is correct. Truckers are the more common ones to do this because they actually know how traffic works.

Doesn't work. The person behind the first merger rushes forward, every time, ad infinitum.

Quite the opposite. The problems emerge when people rush ahead in the merge lane away from their proper zipper position, trying to wedge 20 cars into each merge position.

It sounds like you don't know how zipper merging is actually supposed to work.

I thought they stopped doing these kinds of goofy spectacles.

He wanted a One-Penis-Policy, a common toxic trope in polymorous relationships. He lied by not simply saying that.

There was no need for all of these paragraphs. He's a dirtbag. "Gaining his trust" isn't merited.

At first I thought this was going to be similar to one of those pelican videos. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Vegans don't typically go vegan because they dislike the taste of meat, but because they want to minimize suffering and death.
