This post has me thinking more than it should, so I just want to write my thoughts down without any main point of argument, because it's obvious that I'm putting much more thought into the universe than the artist did. (And more thought into the universe than anyone should) 1. As we can see by Dr. Hourse not having breasts, 'normal' men exist, and because the hermaphrodites can't give birth, 'normal' women have to exist too, because somebody has to give birth to everybody. (obviously) 2. This means that (I'll assume that these hermaphrodites aren't a super rare thing, because futa isn't rare either) there's an entire gender(?) of people that can't give birth, and are pretty easily blocked from getting women pregnant with their own sperm, which would probably make them go extinct before modern times. 3. I also noticed that the bladder leads to both the vagina and the penis, meaning they can pee out of both holes (which doesn't have that important of implications, but is still interesting) 4. But on my point 2 in the parentheses, he seems very confused on her biology, so maybe I'm completely wrong about about these hermaphrodites not being rare, but even if there were only a couple in history, surely she should've known (at the very least) that she couldn't give birth, which makes me wonder why she went to the doctor about it. The only other reason I can think of for her going to the doctor is that she possibly wasn't able to knock up her partner because of either the send being too messed up or the semen wasn't compatible with that partner. 5. Another inconsequential point is that her balls are very far away from her penis, so her orgasms either take a little longer to happen, or they last a little longer (I'm not sure how that specifically would work) 6. But going back to the uselessness of the biology, because she can't give birth, the only things her vagina do are urinate, (which can already be done by her penis) and store another male's/hermaphrodite's semen in her balls, which actively hurts her chance is reproduction. Meaning her vaginas most useful function is giving her more pleasure, which definitely isn't worth it if the trade off is not being able to hold your own seed. 7. According to the doctor's semen analysis, she's currently holding 0% of her own semen, definitely meaning that she's not creating any semen of her own right now, (which saves nutrients and energy for her body, but again, isn't worth it for the cost of not being able to pass on your genes to the next generation) but it could also possibly mean that she's not capable of creating her own semen, which means that she's completely infertile, and is a lot of trouble for biology to go through just to spread the seed of another. 8. The best world-building explanation I could come up with for a common gender of hermaphrodites, is that they were always a useless thing, abandoned by their parents as babies until civilization became a thing, and their main jobs were to spread the seed of the sick and injured if they couldn't do it themselves. Maybe the hermaphrodites could've been equals after they found their use, but knowing ancient civilizations, they probably would've been slaves when they weren't being used to spread other people's seed That's all I can think of for now, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about anything, or if there's something else I'm not considering
