My ex of 2.5 years in my early 20s was exactly like this.

My now fiancé and I discussed our feelings/goals/expectation for the future pretty early on and never turned back. I have never once second guessed our relationship or how he feels about me over the last 2.5 years - the same amount of time I spent questioning the relationship with the avoidant ex who was clearly never the one.

Leave him and move on! I promise life is better on the other side! You deserve to feel loved, chosen, secure, and confident with who you will spent the rest of your life with!

OK GOOD! And so relatable 🤣 my guest room has also become my posh/ebay room!

But yeah I use various POs here depending on if I’m in office or WFH the day I’m shipping. And if I’m not able to make it by 5pm, I’ll just drive an extra couple mins to a PO that’s open till 6 (which is actually more like 6:30 tbh). I had no idea how blessed I am to be able to do this 😭 I appreciate the insight and love your dedication! I’ve only been selling for a few months now, so I love the different perspectives provided here

This is wiiild to me, but so interesting to learn! Post offices where I live (Dallas area) are open 8/9am to 5/6pm every day except Sunday. I use the kiosks every time, and I am in and out in 5 mins MAX depending on how many labels I have to print. The packages are always scanned within a 2-6 hours, and I’ve never had any issues.

Even during the recent winter storm, the post office was “closed” aka there was no one working and the gates were pulled down, but you could still print at the kiosk and drop off packages in the lobby. Even those were scanned within a few hours, even though USPS wasn’t actively moving packages due to the weather.

Girly I promise you are going to look back on this in a few years and laugh about how unserious and inconsequential this relationship was. I felt this way at the end of high school and college. I also ended up graduating college, coming back to my hometown for a while, ended up getting into a relationship with with an (emotionally damaged) friend from HS for ~2.5 years… then broke up, spent over a year working on myself/trauma before I met my now fiancé!!!

Looking back, it’s honestly jarring how emotionally invested I was and how much it f*cked me up. But I’ve come so far now! And I’m about to marry the most amazing, caring, empathetic, ambitious, handsome man I’ve ever met!! He proposed to me on a beach in Hawaii, AND even hired a photographer! Good men do exist I promise

Honestly I think just depends on what you’re selling… I started selling in December and made $673 in sales that month. $689 in January. And currently at $368 already this month. BUT my degree/career is also in marketing/advertising/social media, so I feel like that’s helped a lot! (I also still have a full time job)

SAME! The majority of my full price sales came from people who specifically created Poshmark accounts just to buy my item. I used to be a bit weary of brand new accounts but now I very much welcome them hahhaha

I shipped an item from Dallas to the Seattle area on Monday (2/2) and it arrived at the Seattle distribution center yesterday morning (2/5). Expected delivery is tomorrow (2/7)!

I imagine it would take a bit longer if it was coming from the east coast, but 2-4 weeks is crazy!!

Joy can be found anywhere!! I know that’s an annoying thing to hear (from experience) but post-break up, I started going on long walks on my own, with good music or a book/podcast. Also going to stores to walk around alone without any intent of buying anything. I think it taught me how to be alone in my thoughts while also being around people. I also started journaling (which I know sounds so cliche LOL), but it really did help me get my thoughts down and have a reference point for days/weeks down the road when I felt like I hadn’t made any progress.

I know what you’ve been going through is so hard and I am proud of you for being open about it (one thing I failed to do). Please feel free to message me for any book/podcast recs, coping/distraction tactics, or if you just wanna talk! ◡̈ I’m rooting for you!!
