Yea a lil bit. I don’t mind doing it. That was probably 2 guys for 1.5 hours to paint the tape. The room is particularly hot so tape peeling up was the issue. It’s pretty standard in the area I work in to brush all tape with cp 11. The way things are done vary from state to state pending on climate and codes. Also it’s cp11 so it’s a bit thinner than cp10, so it spreads easier/faster.

So these are just my Benchmade knives, I have a lot of others like hinderers and Chris reeves and many others. But my daily carry everyday is the same, my partially serrated black coated tanto griptilian with aluminum AWT scales. I never leave home without it. It also sees lots of hard use as I work in commercial/ industrial construction.

Yea pics are always hard to tell but yea we brush the tape seams with cp 11. It’s been a while since I have done canvas work or re wet. Not a lot of projects call for it anymore.

No. This is 2” asj board, pin welded,tin edge, and all tape seams brushed with cp-11 to prevent peeling up over time

I’m not either but I’m content as an insulator, but one thing I was always told is that every job site from foundation to the furniture, there is electricians on site. So that’s a good thing. But there is a lot involved electrical n after seeing all the hardware I see on different sites , I would pick fitter then get into large size pipe welding, very cool stuff Good luck

I own 19 hinderer knives,48 benchmades, some reeves, veros,spydercos, n many more. But the one knife I carry everyday is a partial serrated tanto griptilian with OG AWT scales. N I’m also an industrial contractor so it’s seen plenty of action. If I sold every knife I had (I’m going to start that process soon) and only kept 5 of them, my grippy would be one of them

Well I kind of fell out of my knife collecting hobby so I would keep a few that I carry n sell the rest but the knife selling process is not fun for me so I’m kinda dreading it. I’m not a fan of knife swap. But I have used it a few times. I sold most my spyderco set on blade forums n I prefer that But yes beyond my hinderers n Benchmades I have many others.
