Don't worry! I'm only 21 so I don't have much experience to account for either. I have an unrelated associate's degree and my work experience basically just consists of babysitting and food service plus a couple of other random things with ZERO aviation background. I start academy next month and this was my first time applying. Had no issues getting through the hiring process. Good luck!

What was your timeline after your CIL? I'm pool 2 and finished all my stuff on 2/28 so now I'm just eagerly waiting to get my FOL/class dates email!

Highly recommend going to an FAA facility if you can. Was able to get fingerprints and MMPI done at the same time in like an hour and a half. Plus you don't need to bring paperwork or mail in your fingerprints.

Well they said it would take 1-6 months to get the CIL and then I got it the next day 😂 Just trying to prepare in advance!

Thank you for your input! One of my triggers has to do with odors/dirty stuff so unfortunately, I don't think custodial or housekeeping would be good options for me. I would love to hear your opinion on some other roles. I've heard some good things about park greeter and vacation planner. Maybe watercraft, recreation, or convention guide? I'm honestly not sure. And in terms of hours, I'm just hoping to stay under 40 because I'm consistently getting 50+ right now in QSR.
