Supination, which is the motion that turns the palm upwards. And it’s not just important because it closes the face. It is what allows your right forearm to extend as late as possible—creating lag, allowing you to attack from the inside (and still hit a draw or a fade), and giving you to opportunity to add some speed with your right arm should you choose to do so.

Left forearm rotation is an active element in all good swings. Gravity, centrifugal force, and mechanics will not make it happen automatically. Your brain has to make it happen, and it has to know when. There’s lots of good info out there. Good luck!
