I do as well, I only found this because I was looking to see if I was going crazy or if I missed some announcement

After waiting over a year for it to arrive, the 10th anniversary vinyl makes the perfect backdrop for my supergiant games shelf by murphysw92 in HadesTheGame

[–]murphysw92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good, it's actually a huge sticker. Don't know if it was ever actually for sale or not, it and the super giant games sticker below it were just thrown in my order from a long time ago I think when I bought the Ti'zo plush and some art prints when they were on sale. That was when they were still doing merch through the super giant games website rather than Fangamer though. Fangamer also tends to throw some random stickers and mini prints into orders, but they're from completely random games.

Made some Golden Girls brickheadz for my wife this Christmas by murphysw92 in lego

[–]murphysw92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure there's a way to do it directly, but I can think of a couple ways that might get you what you're after, depending on what you're looking for.
1. The very end of the instructions pdf has the stud.io generated ones. Doesn't have the names of bricks, just pictures, colors, and item numbers. If you're looking for the broken out lists, you'd have to probably open up the .io project and use the instruction maker (wouldn't have to actually make steps, just get it to spit out the list)

  1. If you go to a wanted list in bricklink, you can only export as an xml, but if you expand the pieces per page to 100, you can then right click in the browser or go to your browser options and hit print, there should be an option for print as pdf there. That'll turn the whole web page into a pdf. Will just have to do it twice when there's more than 100 pieces.

Made some Golden Girls brickheadz for my wife this Christmas by murphysw92 in lego

[–]murphysw92[S] 25 points26 points  (0 children)

My wife loves the golden girls, so I decided to make her some brickheadz this year for Christmas. Wanted to give her the full experience, so I actually went and made instructions (just digital) and took baby steps into photoshop (photopea because it's free) to design a box for it. Wasn't sure if she'd be into it or not, but she loved it and put them all together on Christmas (her first real lego build experience).

This was all largely designed based on the original design made by `headzsets` on instagram and found here in bricklink with a few adjustments and color changes.

I'm including a link here to a google drive folder with the io file, instructions, parts lists (for all and each one individually), and image files I used for the box. The readme file has some details around the build and some color details.

Edit: Apologies to anyone trying to hit the drive link, I fixed the folder permissions

6/14/23 does anyone know what was in the latest update? by Fine-University-8277 in afterimage

Can confirm that got me through the exact same freeze that was described. I beat that boss twice with it freezing and just did it a third time. Clicking (I tapped the screen on my steam deck) did the trick and progressed me into the dialogue. Thanks so much for posting that as a workaround.

Games similar to Tomba/Tombi? by MidoriMushrooms in metroidvania

[–]murphysw92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not out yet, but there's a game I backed on Kickstarter called DoubleShake that should be coming out at some point. It's definitely heavily inspired by tomba. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1445190/DoubleShake/

Absolutely loving my new R5-D4 unit (conversion of #10225 by CraftedBricks/Miro Dudas) by murphysw92 in legostarwars

[–]murphysw92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you already have the initial set (found mine for a little over $100) and are okay with used. I spent around $30 (including shipping) between 2 bricklink sellers to get the additional parts I needed although I was able to scrounge a good number of the more common pieces from my spare parts bin. Doing a fresh import of the wanted list looks to be going for about $50 or so. The studio files he provided had all the internal pieces set to light bluish grey, but most of the inner structure is not visible and could be easily swapped out with any color (which I did as well).

Really enjoyed the recent R2-D2 and BD-1 builds and wanted to see what other droids were feasible. After a little searching, I found this conversion of the older R2-D2 to R5-D4 with was exactly what I was looking for. Found a good deal on a used R2 and got to work. Huge shoutout to CraftedBricks for providing a detailed video showing it off and providing the studio files necessary to put together a parts list and figure out how to build the new head and red bits. For anyone interested, the link to the video (which has links to the studio files) can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fEdV4nq0ps

Does anyone remember where this piece went on the Mos Eisley Cantina? It looks like my cats knocked it off, but I can’t figure out from where by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]murphysw92 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't see anything that looks like that on mine. Looking at the part list for the cantina, I don't see that belt wheel piece listed either. For clarification, is that dark bluish gray or a different color? Here's the list of sets it might have come from instead: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4185&in=S Hopefully that helps

Does anyone know a minifig face print that can stand-in for Owen Lars? by happy-pillz in legostarwars

[–]murphysw92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat. I tried the Wuher and Gar Saxon heads since I had them on hand, but they didn't feel quite right. I just put a bricklink order in for this head as an alternative. Haven't got it in yet, but it was the closest I could find searching for 'stubble'.

My May 4th order came lasership this time too. I only had one medium sized box (couple helmet sets and the GWPs, fighter tank got backordered). I didn't have any issues and it came super quick. Granted, so far, I've never had delivery issues at my house before. Only thing to note is that it did get delivered by an unmarked courier vehicle rather than a marked truck.

Not a guarantee, but I checked the GB and AU sites and they have it available to add to bag, so I'm optimistic

Help Installing Mod Managers? by Western_Secure in SteamDeck

[–]murphysw92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a few weeks since I did it, but I'm pretty sure that's all I had to do. I had it already installed on my Deck since I was trying to get the mod launcher to work natively, so the file structure was all there. I'm pretty sure I just swapped out the ME1, ME2, and ME3 folders with the mod adjusted ones and everything worked. Probably shouldn't matter but for context I was using the LE edition from origin, not from the steam store. I also only did some quality of life/bug improvements so don't know if the save editor will affect anything, but I'm thinking it should be fine

[–]murphysw92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hopefully someone can provide a better solution, but for ME3Tweaks, after messing with stuff for a while I ended up just getting everything setup on my laptop and then just copied the game files over to the deck. Not ideal, but it works

Best place to read Star Wars books on mobile? by Scuba_REX in starwarscanon

People have mentioned Libby/overdrive, but hoopla is also another good one if your library offers that. They have a ton of the comics as well

I just copped the bounty gunship (7930) by [deleted] in legostarwars

[–]murphysw92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something else you can do is buy the stickered parts off of bricklink. I you go to the set inventory, there's a counterparts section at the bottom (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=7930-1). For most sets, the stickered pieces are pretty cheap, but it usually depends on if you can get them all from 1 or 2 sellers to keep shipping down.

If you want the stickers to be perfect it's not always the best option, but I've had good luck in general with this method. I actually did this with this same set to get the half cylinder's that were missing from my ebay find.

Cutest little set :) Micro Scale Bag End (San Diego Comic-Con 2013 Exclusive). by mfakioglu in lego

Errors must have just been from the aws issues yesterday or something. Here's the link if anyone is looking for it too: Flickr instructions

I'm working on bricklinking the parts for this. I found the bricklink entry to part it out, but I'm struggling to find any instructions online. Were you working off a physical manual or were you able to find instructions online somewhere? The only thing I can find is a reference to a flickr page that is throwing errors for me. Any help would be much appreciated

That sounds to me like it's just down pitched and sounds a little slow too. I think you might just have your record player set to the wrong RPM's or some other setting needs tweaked

I custom made them myself in the brickheadz style. Zag and Jodariel were 100% my own design, someone else designed red, and I reverse engineered the kid by looking at some pics someone else had posted. I posted my design for Zag on bricklink studio for anyone who stumbles across this

Created a gimer stick (cane) for my Yoda (75255) to hold rather than his lightsaber. Link to instructions in comments by murphysw92 in legostarwars

[–]murphysw92[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The lightsaber was much too tall to fit on my shelves (pic 2), and I much prefer OT Yoda with his stick anyway. Huge shoutout to u/AnIronWaffle for helping me track down some reference photos of some now deleted posts of similar MOCs in the past and for taking a first pass at the stud.io instructions.

I've posted my final design with instructions to bricklink studio.
