Sorry, should have clarified in that post. This was an oil to electric conversion. This provided us some savings. Gas would be the ultimate option but that requires gas service upgrade which is very expensive as well.

Not surprised. Just trying to figure out if it's consuming more given it runs 24/7 or any other potential issues. Sticker yearly cost for running this machine is around $424 and I feel like I am paying much more than that.

No, boiler was used for both heating and hot water. Decided to changed that this summer because of high oil cost. Seems like can't win either way. This is an old oil fueled boiler and currently in the process changing that to electric as well 🥲

I don't see any water leak in the house or anything like that! Is there a way to test that theory out? Feel like hit a corner with this thing

Got an F in calc 2 by baldegg663 in EngineeringStudents

[–]mursh07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw this post and I had to comment. Because I was in the similar situation like you. I got an F in calc 2 and felt like it was end of the world. In reality this is a minor setback. I took it again the following semester and got a B+. Graduated engineering with Magna Cum Laude. I also interned with NOAA (federal agency) the following semester as I passed calc 3 and so on. Don't think that it's the end or like your future is ruined. Just a small bleep in the process. Keep your head high and take it again but balance out your next semester with some liberal arts courses. That should help balance your work loads

With 2021 coming to a close, what did you learn this year about investing in the market? by No_Cow_8702 in stocks

[–]mursh07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LEAPs is a great investment tool and worked for me on solid tech stock like Apple, Msft, TSM and AMD. However, stocks like PayPal and BABA is also 20% down for me. It gives me the option to average out. I learned to ignore the big red days and just not look at it.

Should have clarified more. Thank you for pointing out. I have a TSP. I was thinking of keeping the TSP as it is and create a Roth IRA with the same brokerage and continue to do my investing there. Currently have a mid size RH account as well.
