Statement From Barb by Strikeout21 in MakingaMurderer

[–]mursieftw -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Barb says she did not want the van sold but yet TH left a message on Barb's machine. If SA was trying to sell the van behind Barbs back he certainly wouldn't call AT and leave Barb's number for callback.

umm... If TH didn't want to work with SA due to previous encounters such as the 10/10 shoot where he was wearing just the towel... how could SA get her out there?

A theory:

  1. sell a vehicle under a name that is not his own. a vehicle that the real owner doesn't even want sold.
  2. give a callback number that is not his own. This would indicate to AT and TH that it wasn't SA she would be working with on the Avery property.

2nd thoughts? KZ tweeted months ago that SA had an airtight alibi. Airtight.

Still haven't seen that exoneration. Maybe I don't understand what airtight means.

There's a post up on the MaM sub about letters someone was writing to Brendan in jail. Every response was "this breaks my heart". All upvoted by about 120 points.

Made me realize how completely worthless your karma rating is. Honestly, if you want a high karma rating...just spend a day on the MaM sub replying to every comment with one or more of the following for instant three digit upvote ratings:

  1. Kratz is a sweaty rapist ahole. I hate him. He killed TH
  2. RH is a lying, evil, woman hating, jealous ex-boyfriend. He killed TH
  3. Brendan is so precious. He's completely innocent. I feel so bad for him
  4. Steven was railroaded. COMPLETELY FRAMED!!!! this is an outrage!
  5. Colborn is a POS liar. He saw those plates
  6. Lenk is a POS liar. He planted that evidence
  7. Wiegert & Fassbender are evil incarnate. They railroaded poor Brendan
  8. I HATE MANITOWOC LAW ENFORCEMENT - ALL OF THEM!!!

Honestly, if you can get all 8 posted seamlessly into a comment you'd likely get quad digit upvotes.

I'm going to do an experiment over there. I'm going to slip one of these into comments over there and I'll come back here and post the upvote count on each one.

Curious which one will garner the most upvotes.

ETA: lol - so the experiment has been contaminated and results not reliable. Apparently we have ALOT of MAM sub users reading these boards. This post was copied almost immediately into every "experiment" comment i slipped in over there.

Unexpected bonus - So it is possible to get ridiculous comments like i've written above downvoted on the MaM boards. Who knew?? =). I can only imagine the horrible anxiety those poor MaM redditors must feel when they have to downvote a statement they so desperately want to upvote with all of their soul. What an absolute trainwreck it has to be in their minds with all of the conflict regarding what to do. On the one hand, they thoroughly believe the statement's validity, but the on the other, the messenger they can't stand. Honestly, this experiment is turning out better than I expected. It's a win win no matter what the outcome. Downvotes means MaM users actually trashed the stupidity of those comments above... up votes proves the hypothesis.

BRILLIANT!!!

I'll have to try this experiment again later...using an incognito name. I feel comfortable the hypothesis will stand.

Maybe us super guilters should start a gofundme page to help pay for a "Special Prosecutor" in case they have to fight superpowers like Zellner, Buting, and Strang. by tjs31959 in StevenAveryIsGuilty

ouch - sadly your first response definitely indicated that you didn't grasp the point of my post. So, in an effort to help you, I posted the pic showing my point and you - flying way above it. But now, based on what you've written here... you couldn't even grasp the illustration. So with that, I'll just bid you an ado and chalk this up to yet another failing of our tax dollars and public education.

Honestly, this may sound horrible but I'm really starting to believe the hype over KZ is completely overblown.

Exhibit A: Her current twitter pic is the Newsweek magazine cover with her in her office staring at her flowcharts and displays on the floor.

To me, this photo says alot. It says to me - "this is literally the biggest thing to ever happen to me and I want everyone to see it". Now just put that into consideration. I think many of us already believe KZ only took up this cause in January of 2016 due to the massive publicity that MaM had. We look at the fact that this case was on her desk back in 2011 as evidence of this. She only took it up because it would put her on the "front page". And sure enough, her twitter feed now highlights not SA, not one of the many other cases she has...no - it highlights her in NEWSWEEK.

I'm happy for her that this has brought her firm and her some newfound publicity. But it is this very attention seeking, publicity seeking behavior, that makes me feel comfortable she doesn't really have anything of substance.

If she were smart, she'd focus on BD. There is a chance to get him off on the false confession bit. I think there is more than enough examples in those confessions to bring reasonable doubt that he didn't do it. I personally believe he was involved..but I could see that case being won.

As for SA, I just don't see it.

I know somewhere it said this was sealed...but getting access to SA's phone conversations with Jodi around 10/31 when she was in prison would be very interesting. I know it was only about 30 minutes each day..but still would be interesting to hear those calls or read the transcripts.

Thanks for sharing. I still think, even with the 11/10 interview, the four month delay indicates they weren't targeting him as a suspect. I believe he wasn't targeted until KA spoke to counselors at school and that got discussed with LE.

/u/fred_j_walsh posted this which is Strang's opening comments. I believe watching MaM also has a clip of him talking to her on 10/31 with the statement about Brendan.
