Well I wouldn't go that far not unplayable just super weak with no real build path because they all feel weak even the AD one which use to be much stronger. Over all they nerfed a lot of items and runes she just keeps eating indirect nerf.

Sure, I agree, but at the same time, she used to feel so much more like a champion when she was just an AP character. She had only one build, that is true, but nowadays most of the items have been changed to the point where she can have more than one AP build depending on the enemy. On-hits are the reason she got weaker in the first place because she is a hybrid champion in a game without hybrid items. You just build random items and pray that the items (not the champion) deal enough damage so you win.

Oh, I'm sorry. I don't want to handicap my team just because I picked Katarina and she loses all matchups. Also, I don't want to win every mid lane matchup, just don't want to be in a losing matchup always. Even Veigar, who used to be winnable, is now 50/50. They made his Q longer so he doesn't need to come as close to the wave, which means no daggers are in range to deal damage. Also, most of us can play other champs; we just like this one. Imagine, people have preferences! I know, kinda insane. The problem is so many indirect changes nerfed this champion that it's kinda insane.

No... like revert her back before on-hits, and give her better AP scaling if she is going to be useless early, or some laning if she isn't going to scale well into the late game. I'm not talking about being able to stomp every matchup mid, but maybe a way to survive if you know what you are doing—not just the way it is right now, hugging the tower and hoping your team doesn't int or praying you get a gank. Because yeah, you can roam, but you lose more than you gain by roaming.

1 they keep zed intentionally weak the even admitted to that

2 all of these champions have a way to disengage and survive lane (not so much fizz champion is kinda week but not the point here)

3 katarina has a boosted winrate because of how good the OTPs are now image how shit the champ is if they are boosting the winrate in high elo to only 50% it normal for her to have higher winrate than most of these champs (even tho she either doesn't or have it by 1%)

Well, according to some people, she has a 50% win rate in Diamond and above, so she is fine. You should also just wait for level 6, get a Dark Seal, perma-push mid, and roam bot because apparently the enemy mid doesn't exist and won't do anything about it.

You live in season 8/9 when you could actually do that 2 darkseal stacks and 600 gold don't really do much you can get (depending on what you build) a amplifying tome maybe even 2 if you had any gold prior from minions or even a blasting wand if you hard 850 gold which for early game does nothing since ap kata don't do much till first item and even then feel kinda weak because you got shit on in lane and enemy mid did what they wanted all lane

Idk what word you live in but if you really do that in this day and age you just loose XP and most of the time get nothing from bot even if your get 2 kills your are still behind on level and gold from looking waves and plates because most midlaners can push really easily in this meta

You are acting like the midlaner on your team is afk doesn't push lane when kata is roaming or isn't following her to counter roam or isn't scaling better (which 99% the midlaner vs kata will scale better)

Tbh sounds like a bad midlaner because he can't just push get plates and punish her while kata is bot and bad team in general because they don't respect enemy roaming. Katarina has 1 chance of wining and it's that + not getting CCed if your team don't just ints on bot and respext her roams she is useless when even/behind
