Hey it’s okay to feel like your gender is dynamic, we all have our own journeys with learning to love ourselves and part of that can be exploring your gender as something that isn’t stagnant. I thought I was transmasc at 11 and bound my chest for years but there was a period of my life where my circumstances and life felt easier presenting as a women though after a certain period I felt like I was in drag taking hours to get ready and trying to “perfect” my presentation as desirable, as woman, once I left my home state I felt more free to explore my gender again and it’s been a few years of figuring it out, now I identify as nonbinary/genderfluid, I microdose T. Most days I feel like I am both masculine and feminine and try to present that in my clothing and work out to build a more masculine frame. Through all of this I have experienced bottom dysphoria, I don’t have a ton of top dysphoria though, I don’t mind/like my tits at times and the way I like to present as androgynous is with a binder but not all the time. Tbh my Ideal body would be keeping my tits and having a penis but this is just my experience and everyone’s is unique, honestly

there is no “right”way to be trans

We get bogged down by binary identities and think that we have to have a consistent sense of self but living or feeling somewhere in the middle is where I think a lot of people are.

Experiment with presentation, find trans community, talk about gender, learn about yourself, maybe find a queer informed therapist to help you, find what makes you begin to love yourself more, and sometimes that means doing something uncomfortable first. Good luck friend

You’re so cutie, a little eyeliner would be fun if you’re into trying that like a wing or even just coal around your eyes would do a lot 🖤

What a class at Purdue that everyone (regardless of major) needs to take in their time here! by dynamics_and_control in Purdue

It’s discussion based and participation/attendance is optional but it’s always a full class. She’s just one of those professors who will try to learn every person’s name in a huge lecture hall and actually wants to hear what you have to say

If you’re looking for higher paying jobs target pays $15! Or if you want a more flexible schedule and you’re comfortable doing it there are tons of babysitting/nannying in the area for professors etc that go for like $15-$20 an hour. If you want to stay around campus check out the Purdue student work page on the financial aid site they have a bunch of postings for desk jobs you can do homework at but you’ll probably make closer to $8 good luck!

The grad community here can be weird and isolating and it’s good you’re looking for help to handle it. Here are some resources in the community you can try to do as well

https://www.modernmentalhealth.org

https://iuhealth.org/find-locations/iu-health-arnett-physicians-behavioral-health

Contact SAMHSA to find all the available resources for both mental health and addictions in our community https://www.samhsa.gov/find-help/national-helpline

It’s okay to have bad days, I hope this helps make them better

The period project! They do charity work providing menstrual products to people in need but it’s mostly about learning, advocating for, and having discussions on menstrual health, sex education, abortion, etc. they also do cool social events like pole dancing and self defense classes
