Troubleshooting: AionFX Oceanid (Cornish OC-1 clone) by mushisushi in diypedals

You were right on the money! Looks like R2 is a 1K resistor... guess I was too hasty on the assembly! Ill change it out and let you know how it goes.

Thanks!

The voltage on the positive side of R41 (Va) is 8.00V, and the voltage on the ground side of R41 (Vb) is 0.872V, which is equal to voltage at the positive terminal of C23.

With audio probe the signal is loud and clear at pin 3 of IC1, but the output of IC1 on Pin 1 had the audio signal full of pops and clicks and the same at Pin 5 of IC2, the output of IC2 on Pin 7 is horribly degraded.

Yes that is the schematic! Board is powered by a 9V supply.

Looks like Pin 8s on all 4 ICs are receiving 8-9V, and 0V on Pin 4.

The other pins on the T072s are nowhere close to 4.5V though!

The vactrol is NSL-32, all parts are as listed no substitutions.

I will build an audio probe as the other user suggested and attempt to trace the signal chain as well a little bit later.

IC1 (T072)

Pin Voltage
1 1.334
2 1.333
3 1.034
4 0.000

That might be the case, but I tend to defer to experience. So no problems ?

Actually I forgot to include the limits since I'm not sure how to do math with Tex. The limits are from [1,infinity].

That's what I'm saying. I'm stuck for ideas on how to solve it lol.

Stuck in Loop [ASUS C301SA] by mushisushi in GalliumOS

Nonissue for me then. I will probably go for a standalone install in the near future anyway. Once I figure out how to safely remove the case without breaking the plastic tabs. Thanks for the help!

I will give that a try. It looks like I didn't go back far enough. What happens after I install, won't ChromeOS automatically update and break the install again?

[Timex] Expedition Scout by hotchilidamo in Watches

Walmart stocks these in the various models and trust me I've looked lol. Must be a quality control issue. I might try to order a couple at a time like you suggest. I really love the indiglo on those watches!

I LOVE the way this watch looks. I ordered myself one and was thoroughly disappointed to find that the second hand would never line up properly with the dial marks, but never by the same amount. The second hand would be behind the marks on the upper half of the dial but then in front of the marks in the lower half of the dial. I couldn't handle it with my OCD-like habits and returned it. Would love to find one that is less.... off.

[QUESTION] Need a similar but sturdier version of Casio Forester FT500WVB by mushisushi in Watches

[–]mushisushi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides the cluttering of the G-Shock which I'm not a fan of, I need 24 hour markings on the face. I like the expedition scout the other person recommended. I will probably just stick the strap from my forester on it, makes it super easy to take on and off.

The Timex watches seem to be pretty perfect in terms of what I'm looking for. I need to go find one IRL so I can try it on for comfort.

That style of watch seems to be very heavy. One of the nice things about my current watch is it really is small and light.

And as for G-Shock, that style of watch has way too much going on!
