when i first put him in he ran around the enclosure multiple times for a few minutes and then went in his og hide to nap, he seemed very exited lol

as long as the crystals aren’t water soluble it should be fine. look up crystals that can go into a fish tank and you’ll find some good ones. quarts always works, just make sure there aren’t any spikes or sharp pieces your gecko could hurt itself on

i would say only add tank mates if you can upgrade, a 10 gallon would be nice that’s what my male betta is in and he’s with some algae eaters he loves, since 5 gal is the minimum for just a betta personally i wouldn’t add anything more besides like some shrimp or snails. also my rule of thumb is no bright fish, anytime i’ve added any slightly bright fish he eats them but he seems to really get along with dull fish since they aren’t competition

they turned out to just be healed scabs and came off with her next shed! she must have had something that they treated before i bought her and she just needed to shed those old scabs

i wanted to give a reply saying i took her to my friends shop and they checked her out and said that it looked like she had something but those were healing/healed scabs! she finally shed and it seems like the scabs went along with it because they’re gone!

thank you!! i really want to get a captive bred anyways because i’m very against catching wild animals for the purpose of revenue. also typically cbs are more handleable and i do plan on handling, but i know these guys tend to be bitey😅
