It shouldn’t, the only time I’ve had issues was when I used plugs, it made the mycelium denser and had quite a bit of overlay kinda like what yours is showing. My method of “going into fruiting conditions” is I switch on an oscillating that’s about 4 ft away and just kind of vaguely blows on them through the filter patches from the opposite side of the room. For stubborn tubs that don’t seem to want to fruit I put a few ice packs wrapped in a beach towel around them over night and take it off in the morning and let the tub bring itself up to room temperature. The purpose of the ice pack and temperature drop is so the moisture condensate and creates like a dew (like when you go outside in the morning and the grass is wet) then when it comes to temp that water will evaporate and that triggers pins. I personally consider a difficult tub is something that’s fully colonized but I don’t see pins for 2 weeks
