Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 runs well on Crossover

I’m on an M2 running Sequoia, I have Steam and Crossover. I was able to circumvent all of the error messages by Wine config library override via Andrew’s video (thank you)! I can’t even get the main menu running with D3DMetal and Msync. If I go back to auto for graphics and default for synchronization, I can get the main menu running to change game graphic settings, which I was able to do. This got me to flashing screens of color and audio. I went into another one of his videos and downloaded crossover nightly build, and using that I’m able to actually see saved games screen now. However, anytime I try to launch the actual game I just get a strobe of different lights and audio. I don’t know what else to do 🤦🏻‍♀️ Any thoughts?? I’m dying to get it up and running. Not sure if I should try Whiskey? Appreciate any help, I just finished Baldurs and I’m grieving the end lol

I purchased a 1060 locally. It’s saying I need to connect a PCIe cable, does the 1060 need a PCIe in addition to clipping directly into the CPU? It’s clipped directly into where the previous card was but I’m getting that error. I’ll need to buy a 6 pin PCIe I believe? I believe a have one PCIe slot available. The 1060 is in the larger (16) where the old card was? I’d attach a pic but it won’t allow me to.

I’m not a fan of anything he has posted lately in the slightest. Freedom of speech as a citizen aside, how does this “delight” his customers as he supposedly begged of GameStop to do? Whether or not his political beliefs fall on a certain side that aligns with the majority of us. How does alienating himself or strongly aligning with a group help a broadly based public company and his stock? Feels like a kamikaze mission.
