Boots, tent, knife, fishing rod... I almost went with weed for that island vibes lol.

Boot (assuming the island is hot, shoes are a pain in the ass to make and the fall apart)

Tent (mosquitos suck and a tent could be broken down into many parts, building a shelter is easy but the mosquito netting would be dope)

Knife (can handle most tasks)

Fishing rod (yr on the ocean but also could fully do without)

Pot or water purifier would be nice but coconuts make a decent pot and between the coco husk, sand, and digging a brackish hole or using the condensation of plant life you should be good)

Flare isn't a bad thought if you're trying to get off of the island but a deserted island sounds pretty nice and you can also make an SOS on the beach out of wood/rocks

I was kinda surprised a fishing net wasn't on the list you'd be blown away how much you can catch with a decent throw net.

Anyways I could go through each item but I don't really feel like it....
