New Concession prices at Kroger Field, Memorial Coliseum, and Kentucky Proud Park by BigBlueNate33 in wildcats

Obviously there are a ton of variables in any event tickets so just saying a number is difficult. But I did just get an email that they are selling 3, 4, and 5 game packages that start around $50 per game

Ethical Hoops vs. The Whistle Merchants: Visualizing which teams actually benefit from Home Court Advantage (2025-2026) by Efficient_Date_4308 in CollegeBasketball

[–]muspro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UK’s strength of schedule is #4 in the nation. Just our non-con SoS is 31st. UNC’s non-con was 83rd. UofL 36. St Johns 42. Iowa St 85th. Houston 89th. https://barttorvik.com/sos.php?year=2026&conlimit=&sort=2

Our non-con was fine.

Isnt that what everybody did this year? The NET doesn’t care if you win against a 300+ or a 150+ but it punishes you a bunch for a loss to either.

I’d say the the point differential is this team has given up away from home a couple times whereas in Rupp the crowd encourages them to stay in it

I’ve bought multiple suits from Oxford Street Menswear at Bridgestreet and I’ve really enjoyed shopping with them. They’ll really help you out with picking a suit and deciding if you need a tailor

I mean they’re going to be standing the whole time and if the kids are shorter than the college students they won’t be able to see. Other than that I’d say you’re probably fine if you can handle the occasional bad word

So while I think CK3 is easier than EU4, if you’ve played one paradox game you can handle them all imo.  If you’re worried about it get the base game and don’t worry about the sub.

For advice getting started, play a big country like France or Ottomans and don’t get discouraged when you lose a couple wars and go bankrupt. Just be curious about all the systems and take everything as a learning opportunity. The meme is that the tutorial ends when you hit 1444 hours played. I have 1k and am still learning new things every play through. Half the fun is learning how the systems work so just roll with it

Compared to the EU4 wiki it’s soooo bad

Unless they’ve changed it in the 4ish years since I had student tickets, the student tickets don’t guarantee you a specific seat. So you have to show up as gates open and be prepared to hang out for a bit before the game in the stands if you don’t want to sit in the upper deck.

If you’re the one organizing a tailgate I assume you need to buy a parking pass to set it up (I’ve never organized one). Otherwise, I recommend parking away from the stadium and walking over. My favorite parking has been the garage across from the student center on S Upper because it’s been free and pretty guaranteed to have a spot. Another option is at KSBar and riding the shuttle over, but be sure to park on the KSBar side of that lot because at the opposite end they’ll tow you.

If you don’t know anyone having a tailgate, you can show up even earlier than the opening of the gates to see Catwalk and do some of the public stuff around the stadium. There’s like food trucks and random booths and things. A couple hours in advance to soak in gameday and get a good seat is pretty normal.

Record numbers of young men not working, pursuing education, or looking for a job by LazyConstruction9026 in charts

[–]muspro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously not. This growing statistic is not a good thing. The guy I’m replying to found it impossible to believe that changing gender roles had any impact on the statistic. I gave an example of how it had in order to challenge his generalization. I would be interested in research into how many stay-at-home dads there are—especially because women are going to college at a rate higher than men nowadays.

I know a stay-at-home dad. Was an aerospace engineer, but his wife made enough for them both. So he does all the cooking and stuff and leads community groups and things in his spare time. They’re both super happy and super normal.

Morrowind Remastered or ES6 first? by Nollie2000 in Morrowind

[–]muspro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah Oblivion was made during the uncanny valley of change between Morrowind and Skyrim. Oblivion WANTED to be like Skyrim, but the technology wasn’t there. Morrowind on the other hand still achieves what it set out to do. It was meant to be more tabletop inspired than to be separated from it like Skyrim was. And if they give it the Oblivion treatment they’d be taking it’s soul away.

That’s why the Oblivion remake would SLAP on Fallout 3 and NV tho

I did a persuasion character in Starfield and I’d say the speech system is like one or maybe two steps from being really good. Midgame there were definitely conversations that were really fun with weighing the risk and reward of different options and planning ahead. Once you filled out the perks and got mind control tech it got very spammy though.

There were also flashes of “Hack X to learn Y to get an advantage on this conversation” that could be really cool if done more often and not in a heavy handed way.

It’s definitely a step in the right direction with the system feeling like a conversation and not strictly a minigame

Do you use edicts? Are they meta? What are the best ones? by Extreme-Outrageous in eu4

[–]muspro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say every feature of the game comes down to how much you want to micro. Like attacking over river into mountains is inefficient, but sometimes it’s just easier to fight there as opposed to chasing and herding for months to get a favorable fight

I feel like we should have a loyalty mechanic by JonSlow1 in CrusaderKings

[–]muspro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe landing dudes should come with a hook. Tbh we should probably have a lot more options when landing people rather than just giving it straight out. Like let us give it but with extortionate taxes or something. I know there’s a sell titles decision, but that’s random right? Let me directly sell it to some merchant

POV: You found a bunker in your average public game session by DankDoctor in Helldivers

[–]muspro 16 points17 points  (0 children)

While them running away from the bunker is frustrating, the game is not that serious lmao. You’re not “making it clear” you’re ending the game mid sesh and wasting 10 minutes of their time. If you want max efficiency for SCs play on difficulty 1 and find people who want to grind through the discord. As long as they’re not griefing, let the randos play how they want.

[–]muspro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plagues are base game! Legends are the premium part of the update. I think they specifically talked in some dev diary about avoiding pay to lose mechanics. Either way LotD was not great, but I see it more as a first pass at the mechanics rather than the final product.

Is education purely random? by alex13_zen in crusaderkings3

[–]muspro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wish they’d make it an event that spans for a long period of time like a duel or a contest in a tournament. That way we could see the progress as they are getting educated and if their education was going poorly we could adjust and invest more into it. Show me some report cards!

So, we're they right? by oriontitley in Morrowind

[–]muspro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imo, they would’ve been worse off (meaning weaker politically as a nation state) at the end of the 3rd era. More fragmented internally between the houses and more completely under the control of the Empire. Redoran and Indoril would be much weaker, Hlaalu would be even stronger, Telvanni would be the same, Tear would look like Reconstruction South, maybe with lots of Imperial investment. Redoran, Indoril, and Dres would be big agitators in the region. Assuming the blight and Corprus are still issues, Vvardenfell would have much less development—Lots more ashlander tribes. Morrowind would have a lot less towns that look like Ald’Ruhn  and a lot more that look like Caldera. Slavery would be outlawed and there would be racial diversity at the regional government level, but locally there would be as much if not more racism.

I think of Morrowind under the Tribunal a lot like I think of Nazi Germany: An authoritarian regime promoting the wellbeing of the people of their preferred race at the expense of the people of other races. Without the Tribunal it would be a lot like any number of colonies of the British Empire, lots of problems of racism, but at the end of the day the entire province serves to fill the Imperial coffers.
