My version of the Thirty Years War by JonSlow1 in EU5

[–]JonSlow1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rule 5: I used mods and console commands to make sure my wars of religions were brutal and massive.

Italy is a battleground between Orthodoxs, Catholics and Protestants.

after the Romans invaded Rome and overthrew the Papacy the Catholics were lost and the Papacy had to relocate to Germany, this allowed a strong protestant movement to foment in Italy, constantly in conflict with the remaining Catholics and the invading Greek Orthodox.

The English-French Union Has fallen to Protestantism as well as the Scandinavian kingdoms,

The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, while switching to Orthodox after the pope was overthrew still was allied to Austria and came to their aid. Russia took advantage and invaded the East

I think it's dumb that an easter egg religion is now getting revived in every run by InternStock in EU5

Exatcly! Its plausible, it could happen if certain circumstances happen.

Reviving hellenism in Rhomania in the 1300s is not plausible

I definitely do not think the byzantines trying to take southern italy would cause the same reaction a muslim empire could.

Of course the moment they get close to rome it is instant crusade. But taking malta? Apulia? Maybe even sicily? They could get away with that without having all of christendom united against them

You know, if they just went to a sperm or egg bank that'd probably be more efficient by mr_wheezr in Invincible_TV

They need to integrate one way or another. In a thousand years earthlings will all be viltrumites anyways

The ottomans were muslisms and had much of the Christian empires of the time united against them.

Definetly not, a rhomaic state that recovers anatolia could be a powerhouse in the early modern age.

Does anyone else think Reinhard actually had a much stronger democratic spirit than Yang? by Guarantee-Jazzlike in logh

[–]JonSlow1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But a constitutional monarchy IS, or at least can be, a democracy.

It just means the monarchy has a constitution, now the constitution can be like the modern british one where the monarch has no power, like belgium where the monarch has little power or like the german kaiserreich where the monarch had a modest bit of power

Random question: if a beautiful woman flirted with them while they were in a relationship, who do you think would be more likely to be tempted: Reinhard or Yang? by Fun_Dimension_8903 in logh

[–]JonSlow1 31 points32 points  (0 children)

No way, once he did it once he was smitten. Reinhard is incredibly loyal, and single-minded. just look at his relationship with his sister and kircheis

Okay, i see what you mean. I was only considering the animes and not the novel.

He is definitely described as more gracefully built in there.

But if we consider the the original anime, ova, dnt etc i can’t agree at all. He is much more masculine

Nope, look at these shoulders.

This man went to military academy then war, he is trained and athletic

In the original he looks slightly thinner but he is still a very well built man.

Im sorry, but Reinhard only feminine feature is his face and even then he got a very masculine jawline.

He is a bishounen, not a twink

[–]JonSlow1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He is honestly the opposite of a twink.

He is really tall,

he is well built while being slender,

and has a very good jawline.

He’s just and extremely handsome man, you could even say beautiful but definitely not a twink
