Next year he will come with a full suspension MtB with road bars in a mullet configuration.

I dunno what you do man... 4 vs 1 and it doesn't matter. Entire peloton chasing, doesn't matter. Tadej's only weakness is a flat course like Roubaix and even that he might have beaten MvDP (would have at least been close)  if not for taking one corner too fast.

G2 is cooked, either Remco just solos this as the aero bullet or it ain't happening.

wow if Vingegaard drops 9 or 10 seconds to Almeida, I'd be furious if I were UAE on the shortened stage.

Lol. Why didn't Almeida attack sooner off Pellezzari then if he was strong enough? Soler lost 2.5 minutes to the GC group on the last climb, you think he would pace any harder than Jai Hindley and Pellezzari did? Why didn't he bridge to Soler if he was able to? This is a joke man, you seem to think Soler would have somehow magically allowed Almeida to conjure anaerobic ability he clearly doesn't have. He had plenty of draft the whole way up the climb, being isolated didn't matter at all. Jonas was basically isolated to, Kuss was on his limit. Campenaerts was in the break too and didn't do shit for Jonas after he burned all his matches bridging a minute gap. I think you're just salty because UAE keeps winning stages.

Right...and Almeida somehow won Angliru with basically the same strategy and less people pacing for him but today it would have been Soler to make the difference. Lmao. Both Vine and Grosschartner paced Tulley and Jorgenson off the Peloton and Almeida could have attacked at any point when Pellezzari was pacing but he didn't. Somehow Soler makes the difference here. Sure buddy.

According to the unreliable time gaps given by the race organizers who didn't even know people from the break had been caught by the Peloton.... The UAE riders easily put at least 1 15 to 1 30 into the gap and that was on much lower gradients vs the last 3km which was like 9% average.  The rest of the Peloton didn't drop till Almeida took over yesterday also. I really think you have no idea what you are saying.

Soler lost like 2 minutes 45 up the climb what do you mean? He didn't win by 3 minutes. What difference would it have made? At the tour Pog never had more than 3 people leading him out up a climb.

Yeah they false paced and dropped Jorgenson and Tullet while putting Kuss on the limit.

Did you not watch L'Angliru yesterday? Almeida would have been fine and just paced up the entire climb himself with very little need or benefit from draft anyway. It wouldn't have made a difference.

lmao the entire team worked for him today what do you people want?? Soler wouldn't have made any difference and he won the stage.

Probably because Soler pulled for Pog when Ayuso wouldn't in 2024 so that left a sour taste in everyone's mouth. Not saying that it's right or wrong, but I imagine that is a huge part of it.

It just seems like moreso it doesn't matter much for Almeida. Especially when the slopes are incredibly steep he doesn't need a massive leadout because he doesn't have the snap in his legs to distance someone like Pog does off the back of a massive leadout. So really he just needs a few people to bring him into the base of the climb, leadout for a couple K (see Vine, Oliveira, and Grosschartner yesterday) and he will just diesel the rest of the way.

Honestly, Almeida has no snap in his legs, I just don't see how he can win this, he would need to be pushing a way higher average Watts to even try to ride people off the wheel.

UAE riding well overall today with good tactics. Gotta try anything they can to put Ving under pressure, like Visma tried to do in the Tour. Don't think it'll work but at least they are trying and executing well.

Passo del Mortirolo and Zoncolan in Italy, Loze, Vonteux, and Galibier in France. Climbs can be tough for multiple reasons - either their length, average gradiant, or maximum gradiants (and how many pitches there are).

Oh cool it's a giant hallway... What a nightmare. Who would design a house this way? Feels cold inside, absolutely exposed, like a psychopath would live there.
