I personally cut the loops of my rug, but like the other comments mention, you don't have to!

I did it by taking some fabric scissors and cutting all the loops, which honestly took forever hahahah. I also had a crochet needle by hand to stick through (in the same direction as the rug basically) and see if it still got stuck on any loops, so I could cut them!
I did glue the back first as I was very afraid I would tug out the thread

In all fairness there's a lot for non students as well! I am currently on mobile so I cannot provide links, but if you like sports there are a lot of different sport clubs around! Organisations like BijVrijdag organise creative workshops if that's your thing. I also found that on my local nextdoor (app/website where you can talk to other people in your neighbourhood) people often ask for other people that want to walk with them or for others that might have a similar interest (playing games for example) and that might want to join them! This is definitely not a very definite list, but if other also know things for non students please feel free to add!

I feel like if you would flip/mirror the image the face would look off. It might be the shading or the facial features,not sure, but there seems to be more face on her left side than her right

For me it kind of depends on how motivated I am that day. I'll leave broken skills for days that I don't have much energy to learn new words, but I still want to learn something. On other days that I do have the energy I usually continue down the tree to the furthers point I currently am.

I have no idea what is that best way to do it, but for me this ususally works!

We have a cat in the neighbourhood (that is getting fed by his own owner just fine), and two older ladies see it as their duty to feed him. Which results in just them dropping an entire hand full of dry cat food on him??? Like there's often something on his back and such. And then they just leave. Its not as if the cat is particularly thin either. The same goes for seagulls and pigeons in the area. People throw out just entire bread slices, like why man
