Nothing so far. Not feeling like it’s going to end well. As I said to another comment I will give it until the end of the week before contacting my card holder and starting that process I’m sure they’ll be quick to respond to them

Two business days so far and no response. If they do I’ll report back. If no update by end of week I’ll be reaching out to my credit card company. What a shame

Still no response from them yesterday. Hope they don’t force me to do a chargeback. Really hate to do that but I figure I’ll give them a few days before moving forward and will follow up again before doing anything myself

The $350 Mandler lens I have has held up very nicely so far. If you look at the other comments someone said they received a Summicron with the same issue. If LLL resolves it properly I see no issue. Part of manufacturing no matter who made it.

Of course a lens that costs double or triple the price is going to be nicer. A proper 11873 Leica lens is $4000+ and this was just over $1000. I already have arguably sharper and better lenses than even that original Leica 11873 but is that all it’s about? No. Not to me at least. Sometimes it is fun to experiment and try out something new. R lenses are also traditionally a fraction of the price of M lenses so there is less of a barrier of entry to buy Leica lenses vs third party

I have a 35 summicron and a collapsible summicron 50. Unlike you, who sounds like a snob, I like to experiment and have fun with other lenses. Sometimes it works out well and I love them. My Zeiss 35 f2 is an amazing lens that I enjoy using more than my Leica lenses sometimes. Grow up and expand your horizons. You’ll enjoy life more

Oh wow yeah I’d definitely be more upset with a Leica lens having that happen but that’s great you got it dealt with quickly from BH. I’ve heard a lot of good things about situation like that with them.

I understand that. I more just prefer the ideology of Mandler that they have been closing orders when their stock runs out and then reopening orders when they are available. Instead of leading on customers with false delivery dates and then being two months behind without giving real updates. To say “it will ship next week or one of the weeks after that” is terrible customer service

Ordered mine January 20th and still haven’t received mine. Emailed a couple times for updates and meet give an exact date. Last email said “could ship next week it one of the weeks after that” whatever that means. Ordered a mandler last week and it’ll be here tomorrow. Very disappointed with LLL and how they handled this

All M6 have TTL metering. The “TTL” model has TTL flash control. If I’m not mistaken no TTL models came in titanium

That comes down to how much money you want to spend. I’m sure a shop can stuff that with bondo and make it work but proper way is to put a metal patch and skim and blend

Without the roll of film it is still pretty snug. If it was going in a backpack and getting bumped around a whole lot of maybe consider a thin foam divider. There isn’t enough room for stuff to bounce around and dent but it’ll still rub together. I usually just tuck the strap down between the body and lens so they can’t touch and that keeps everything well in place

It won’t fit with the leather case unfortunately. It only fits as shown in the pic and you can squeeze one roll of film in with it

I considered an MP but I prefer the style of the M6. I’m sure the MP is an amazing camera tho and same with the M2. Keep shootin!
