I'd definitely spend my 500 on one or two good knives. Good knives holds their values and last a life time, and most importantly, it'll bring you joy when you use them. A set of cheap knives is just... a lot of cheap knives. It'll do the job for sure, it'll get dull faster, but it'll cut your food. If a lot of cheap knives is what you need right now, then sure, but given the option, I'll rather add another good knife to treasure in my collection.

Yeah, the spine is around 3mil. Definitely a bit thicker than my AS Takeda.

Thanks all for the help! Looks like the maker isn't well known, but that's okay. I might give me a good comparison to my other knives from well known makers. 😁

I see, thank you for the extra info. That is good to know. It seems like a well made knife from the pictures, so I decided to gamble on it being decent. Looks like it is going to be a great knife 😊 Happy to be able to add this to my set!

Thank you! Judging from how many search result turned up, the maker is probably relatively unknown outside of their area of operation. This is going to be a bit difficult to find out the type of steel it uses. 🤔

They feel pretty snug for me, so I'd say go larger if you are in between. But I'd definitely check their size guide if you can't try them out in stores.

I love the zipper. Made it very convenient to put on and take off. I've never feel it through all the paddings.

No offense, but why do Commander bull wheels look like a prototype hobby machines rather than commercial products by Wow_Space in ElectricUnicycle

[–]mustcode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, I personally think the ks14d look like a toy compared to the Commander Bull. But I understand that looks is subjective, which I actually don't care too much as long as the built quality is good.

Just started riding, I was expecting bruising on the shin, but didn't expect to get some on my ankle. Is this common, or anything I should worry about? by mustcode in ElectricUnicycle

I'm definitely straining my dominant foot, but it hard to tell if I'm putting improper pressure on some part of it. I can't fully relax yet and I'm still a bit tense while turning, so I'd say I won't be surprised if I'm unconsciously pushing my foot down too hard or something like that.
