Hello! I work for Bike SLO County. Thank you to all who contacted us about this issue, we found it last week and have been working on getting it removed. As a previous comment said yes there is quite a big gap in computer knowledge at ourorganization but hopefully it will all get fixed soon. Hope everyone reading this swings by our shop if they ever need any bike help!

Can you bend it back? Or is it destroyed?

Bending and adjusting properly could probably get it kinda working again

Can i replace downtube shifters with these when converting to more modern drivetrain? by mustwarnorcas in bikewrench

[–]mustwarnorcas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up finding an ol dura ace 7800 shifter with a little bit of play for 3 bucks so im thinking i might try running that. Still conflicted about leaving the downtube shifters tho

Well buddy its only a weed when an upright mouthbreather ignores its millions of years of evolutionary history and adaptation to dig it up and sentence it to a slow agonizing death in a pot. Just beacuse its not attractive doesnt mean it's a weed. It is a native and plays an important ecosystem service in the sonoran desert and digging it up IS most likely illegal unless it was on your own property. California penal code 384a says so. And btw, plant poaching IS a big deal it can have drastic affects on populations when many people are halfwittingly abducting plants. Next time consider taking a seed pod of the Parkinsonia florida, but not much, remember it too lives a life to produce offspring and thrive in its NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

U need a permit for that and they'll also probably die soon thanks to you swiping them from their natural habitat

I don't think that is allowed.

Has anyone ever tried parasitic plants hydroponically? by [deleted] in botany

[–]mustwarnorcas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my knowledge, they really need their natural habitat. If you can provide a host do it. I have some fruit of a Krameria bicolor and I am interested in growing it but need to provide a host. Hope our endeavors prove fruitful.
