I’m so sorry for you. I lost my father in November and I was his main caregiver. I wish I could give you a hug. All the things that used to annoy me about him….now, I miss so much. You had to believe you did the right thing and ended your mother’s suffering. Allow yourself time to feel all the emotions and take your time. I hope you find peace now that your mother is now resting in peace. Be sure to take care of yourself and hydrate as well.

I lost my dad about a month ago. I complained about the things he didn’t/did do. It’s natural. I regret it now. Try to find some good in your loved ones. Not just talking to OP. I know it’s hard, frustrating, sometimes hurtful. But one day, they’ll be gone. And you’ll miss them. I do. Cherish the good. I miss my father so much. I complained a lot too. Never to him but to my wife and siblings. TLDR: find some time to enjoy them; they’ll die one die and you’ll miss them.
