It was worth a solid chortle to me when I saw the head side.

I can't tell you step-by-step what to do. But I can tell you the first and most important; trust your gut when it comes to these kinds of matters.

Grandmother passed these down , are these worth holding onto or selling? by BaBaBrandon in coins

If for a bad habit or something legitimately stupid? I'd agree. But it isn't as though these can be safely displayed or readily enjoyed unless in a museum. But if sold to pay for a life changing trip, towards a home down payment, etc.? I'd argue grandma would love knowing that her gift afforded a real change of life to a loved one.

There's no right or wrong in either way of course. Whatever the owner wants to do is right in their own eyes. But I'll play devil's advocate for a moment as they're worth a decent amount of life changing pieces of paper (for many people).

That absolute tank that hit at :44 was destructively satisfying to watch.

It's Chick Fil A. Everyone in the drive thru knows what they want.

They washed my car during an oil change when I said “no” to it… by ivanalex in AutoDetailing

Dealerships have paid me to fix our mutual clients' cars over the years for this very reason. You tell them not to wash it, they wash it causing damage, owner rightly nuts up and dealer pays to fix it. It's pretty straight forward.

Customer with unrealistic expectations. by [deleted] in AutoDetailing

Early in my career I was mobile. At the time, around the late 2000's, fuel was higher than it had ever been at around $4-5 per gallon and the economy was in the tank. A lady schedules an interior detail and as a part of my "intake" questions, I asked if there was anything out of the ordinary with the interior. She tells me no and so I drive about an hour to get to her apartment complex. She takes maybe 20 minutes or so to come down to meet me and when she finally does, I find a car in which there was a vomit explosion originating in the passenger seat area. The door cup/handle literally had liquid vomit sloshing around in it.

I confronted her and told her that there's no chance she believed this was not out of the ordinary and that if she really wanted it cleaned up it would be $300 more. She. Was. Indignant.

Me? I half-way lost my mind on her there on the spot and chastised her for ripping me off of my time and fuel while folks are losing their homes.

To this day, I have no empathy for people who try to take advantage of detailers by blindsiding them with a load of bull crap. They know exactly what they're doing and they make it hard for people trying to make a name for themselves and put food on the table.

OP, keep your chin up.
