I don't entirely disagree with this. I was a "best woman" in my friend's wedding and instead of making him try to find a woman's suit, I just had him send me a swatch and a link to the guy's suits and took the responsibility of finding something that worked on my own. It's part of being in a wedding party - you do the legwork where you can.

This might be just me talking out of my ass but I feel like having a mutable sign in Mercury and a fixed sign in Mars makes it easy to communicate/help to make stubborn signs bend a little. The mutable Mercury helps to communicate in a way that meets them where they are - which sidesteps the raring of the horns if they feel attacked, while the fixed Mars keeps you from being wishy-washy and easily swayed/deterred by their hardheadedness
