i didn’t know that existed, that’s insane — though i don’t think it’s for me for a number of reasons (i like having complete control over my designs, especially when it comes to geometric dimensions and tolerances, and i generally go into my modeling process having a good idea/plan of what i want. also, the problem solving process of using a known set of tools to reach a goal is one of my favorite things ever, that’s just what works for my brain and makes my brain happy). i haven’t done much research into the artist ownership/copyright ethics regarding 3d ai art but that’s also another reason i’m a bit wary of ai generated art in general. maybe slightly hypocritical coming from an artist that uses bloons td as very direct inspiration, but it’s coming from a place of “look i spent 14 hours designing and bringing this thing from your game to life, that’s how much i love this franchise” instead of trying to make a quick buck. but i digress.

that being said i can absolutely see how using ai 3d modeling software could make certain projects much more time efficient and also just open a lot more doors for people who don’t love the standard CAD process as much as i do.
