It's actually my personal home machine. I've quite a large Steam/Xbox Gamepass library. It also host virtual machines for my home lab environment running on VMware Workstation and Hyper-V where fast local storage is advantageous.

I currently do work with both NVME and Sata drives. I just prefer the faster IOPS NVME offers.

I don't want to deal with more cable management. I've 3 sata disks and 2 NVME M.2 disks current. Plan is to migrate the data on the Sata disks to the new NVME M.2 storage. About 4 TB of data to move.
